ike isnt going to stop me from building on jets. putting the finishing touches on my new euro fighter. also, dialing in the radio on a friends turbo prop tucano. lastly, getting the fleet ready for bomber next weekend. i have the generator in place, the wifey is under strict orders not to use any thing electric if the power goes out. this is so all my power tools, sanders, etc can operate at full tilt. barry

im so ready im bored. everything is put away. outdoor cieling fans have had the blades removed. generator is in place. water, water and water. did i mention gas. i plan ahead. it is comical and sad to see most in a state of panic. they are lined up for gas with a look on their face like the russians have landed 50 miles away and are headed their way. barry

Just make sure you have the nice models well packed and padded! [8D] Also, if you guys launch your T-28s in the eye of the storm, and fly in the opposite direction of the hurricane, it might bring the storm to a quick end.

better yet, while grillin the Ike burgers you launch the T28s and get sucked into some time warp like the USS Nimitz (i think) in "final countdown" thus surprising the IJN enroute to Pearl

Overnight the price of gas has jumped 25 to 50 cents thanks to IKE or the price greedy stations...

So in loo of thier profiteering...

I stop and buy 25 cents worth on my credit card!

And yes, I do have the pump print out the reciept.

Soon I may have to empty the coin jar for about two gallons in pennies and nickles.
