What I want to do is to set up the speedbrake on the Aux 5 channel and assign it to a switch (MX Switch). I have done this but I want to inhibit the Aux 5 knob. Is it possible to setup the speedbrake to still work with the Aux 5 knob inhibited???

I believe so. I'm pretty sure if you mix it to another channel that that channel does all the properties.

If it doesn't work out, you can use the switch as an on/off and use the mix for the values.
