Default TBM Bubble Free Tank (UAT)

Has anyone used one of the TBM Bubble Free Tanks?
I won one of these at a Jet Rally but have never heard of TBM. It looks almost identical to a BVM UAT. How do they work? Can I trust this in my new jet?

Dom,

I approximately 15 gallons through my Superbee using the TBM BFT and I have not experienced any issues with it. You should be fine using it.

No problems so far with a P-60 in a Shockjet.

Dom,

I use them on every aircraft I have and have been using them since 06 Ky Jets. They work perfectly!

The TAM UAT is the same as the BVM UAT... All theses parts are easy to get most come from http://www.mcmaster.com if you look on here you can find the part numbers I believe someone did a UAT tank build on here and listed the part numbers. I believe Dreamworks sell all the parts too.

Dom,
Since you already have it, use it. It will work.
If you want to make your own the next time, do a search as there are quite a few threads on the topic.
Really, You never heard of TBM??

Gene and Bill made a name for themselves in aerobatic circles. about two years ago they got into jets. They are working very hard to bring good pricing on quality products to the market. I used them on my aerobatic setups for GS. Gene moved the company down to florida from Michigan, where he scratchbuilt for years building the Troybuilt 260's.

The Dalton 260 has its origins in Gene's design.

They have been very helpful to me.
