Powerbox Royal
#1
Have any of you had an experience with the powerbox not wanting to shut down the battery power using the electronic switch. My was working fine while rigging a new plane, when I went to turn it off the left side battery shuts down fine but the right side will only shut down by unplugging the battery from the unit. Any suggestions.
Thanks,
Bill

Hello Bill!
do you remember trying placing reverce polarity conection with your bateries to your powerbox?
multiplex conectors have mold shape to avoid that but with litle extra force you can do it..
powerbox thinks somethink whend whrong and stay open so you can land.
bottom end there is nothink you can do.send it back in for service
good luck

reverse? battery? that would be smoke
he says he has power on both packs he just cant shut one channel off.
best guess is that your switch is faulty.
try to connect the batt one to the batt 2 input and see if the problem reverses.
or have a look at the connector on the royal (switch input) and see if one of the small pins is bend or missing.

I had both batteries plugged in an everything was working fine during setting of the elevators, after I finished using the adjuster board I was monitoring the diplay unit watch the voltage and current during operation of the elevators. When I was finished I attempted to turn off the unit but the #2 battery will not shut down using the switch, the #1 shuts down as normal. Unplugging the battery is the only was to shut it down. When either battery is plugged into the #2 battery slot the unit fires up, when a battery is plugged into the #1 battery position the unit must be switched on using the electronic switch, which is normal. Seem the unit has "failed" in the on position on the right side.
