Finished this up this last weekend...
Sure it is a foamy EDF, but it hauls the mail at 150 MPH...pulling 700-800 watts. There are versions that top 175MPH.
Anyway, Thought you guys might get a kick out of it....low buck fun!
(I know it is not a fire breathing turbine, but I thought it qualifies as a jet)
Special shout out to Callie (http://www.callie-graphics.com/index.php) forthe excellent work on the graphics!

Goose...
I have the HET 70mm fan unit, a HET 75 AMP BEC, a HET 2W-20 Motor, and a 4S1P 3700mah pack. I also run a little regulator that I piggy back onto the ESC power lead so I have a direct power source for the RX.
Make dang sure that if you go with this system (even bigger, we have seen up to 2K watts) you reinforce the aft section of the fuse, the area where the stabs mount.
My 16 is completely covered in sign shop type vinyl and i have a piece of rotor blade (full scale) leading edge tape on the bottom for protection.

That looks really nice! It also looks like you have the correct color of red as well, nice job.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who's proud to see your choice of paint scheme for your model.
Thank You for your post.
Bryce
