Floor space is at a premium in the garage, and would like to hang the jets with the wings on from a high ceiling well above cars etc.
Has anyone done this. if so could you let me know how you did it please.
Any thoughts appreciated.
Thanks

I just used an Eye bolt screwed into a ceiling joist, and some rope rigged in two loops and a hook on the other end that snaps into another eye bolt in the wall, simple set-up.
When you want to let it down disconnect the hook from the eye bolt in the wall and lower.

I have a good method for hanging some of my from the shop ceiling.
The bicycle hoist is economical and readily available, and allows you to safely hoist the jet out of harms way.
The rope is snubbed off on a cleat on the wall out of the way.
The jets are supported by 1" wide polypropylene strapping from Joanne fabric stores. It has a smooth surface and won't harm the finish.

I'm an electrician & when the ex boss changed from wood to fibreglass ladders they were all going to the dump.
I made this stand from one, one end is hung & hinged from the ceiling, the other end hangs on a trapese. To gain access one end drops down, a couple of simple legs fold to keep that end a couple of feet of the floor.
You could make something similar fro 4 x 2's if you had no ladder. - John.
