What caused the F4 to dive bomb?
From what I can gather, it was one of at least 4 2.4GHz equipped aircraft that experienced some serious interference problems.

Dave was fortunate to be able to bring his aircraft home intact after such problems, but at least one other was not so lucky. []

I agree with Billy...it was a great event and our hats are off to Murray and the staff. They were NEVER less perfect in every way and as helpful as could be. These guys are top notch and put on a great show. MANY THANKS from the RC Jets Direct group...Lowell, John and Shannon. We had a blast and burned a lot of Kero!.

What? This is not good news. I'm surprised there isn't more talk of this. I'm in the process of changing everything out I own to 2.4. I thought all of the problems were worked out?? Futaba or JR?

I'd like to add my thanks to Dan & Murray and all their crew for an absolutely awesome weekend! ALL your efforts are noted and appreciated! I even got extra "crew" help in getting my parachute working! This was a wonderful way to get the 09 CA Jet scene inaugurated.

To all "DA BOYZ" Great time turnin & burnin with you, as always. After hours adventures, and new stories to tell are always funn!

SEE YA, in three weeks!

Futaba Faast was not a problem. I know that a couple of the problems were planes flying low around power lines.

Hey ya'll... thanks again for re-enforcing why the hell I keep doing this hobby. There are some down right awesome bros to hang with. Doug... As always great times, and thanks for lettin' me pinch as much as I need, when I need it... Without your help, I ain't flyin... (jets at least)... Joe Mac.... Tough weekend, but we shall return in true Smokin Joe fashion. To the whole skymaster group... side splitters... specially Somes..."No baby, I am not from Havana" "recharging in 7th heaven". CVRCC.. gracious hosts, and I had lots of fun talking with the members about the finer, more sophisticated aspects of rotary wing flight. Dave S, Greg, James, Ron, Wayne, Dan, Chuck, Billy, Sammy W and all the local So Cal/AZ cronies... Good times, Good times... may there be many many more. Thanks again to everyone...

PS go CARDS !

Nobody has mentioned this jet, but it was awesome. That is Joe's Firebird. That is one incredible jet. I have never seen a model that fast and smooth.

Toro, it is always great entertainment with your night flying. I hope you make it to Speed world even though Joe Mac is not.
