Yes! Bringing 55 gallons - I just got the pump for the drum. I'll do my taxes the night they are due. I hate giving the gov any of my money any sooner than possible.

A couple of udates. Capt. Rick (Tracer) Shafer will be doing his airshow in his full scale T-38 Thursday about 2:30 or 3:00 instead of Friday. For those of you who missed it 2 years ago, WOW! You could see his fingers when he waved on the down on the deck passes. Also Randy Brown will be cooking his B-B-Q for us Thursday nite. He volunteered to do this, I did not ask him to or even bring it up. Nice of him. For those you who have not eating his B-B-Q, it is really good. So, it sound like those of you who were coming in Friday or Thurday nite need to get here by Thursday mid afternoon. Let me know on this forum who will be eating Thursay nite to help Randy plan ahead for food

I need to know about tent reservations. We will be doing more than before and the tent company is starting to run short because of graaduation parties.
Jet fuel is available in site 100 yards from the flight line. Take your can and a credit card. Self-pump, easy. I will have turbine oil for those who need it, at whatever my cost is, BP 2380 I think is the #'s.
I want to publically thank some people/companies for contributing to MA.
Jerry Caudle / ProMark
Bob Violett / BVM
Eric Clapp / Jet Central
Randy Brown
These above people volunteered items without me even asking. Very nice, especially in a bad economic time.
Frank Tiano / ZAP
Horizon Hobbies
Boomerang Jets
I might have made a phone call or two with these, but still very nice considering the economy.
Remember, all proceeds, every year go to a scholorship fund for the aviation department of Hinds Community College who own the airport. Dennis, David and I have never made a dime on any of our 18 years of this event. So buy a t-shirt or two and contribute to a raffle. It's helping a kid get through school.

Since you are a northerner, I hope you can handle the heat of David's mudbugs. Take an extra roll of paper for the trip back home. I've heard of a few people needing it.

RE: Mississippi Afterburner
I am REALLY stoked to be attending Afterburner.
Most of the pilots who'll be there are probably RCU jet forum frequenters. Is there any way to include RCU nicknames on ID badges so we can see who the hell we've been insulting all these years?
Also, from what I've been reading about Mississippi Afterburner, the event motto might be...EAT TO FLY, FLY TO EAT.
Thanks,
Bob
