I too cannot post pictures to a thread I started.

Ok...I have narrowed this down to rcu4 only. users on that server will not be able to post pics or avoid that login box on threads that have certain smilies or thread icons since those are served out of the directory with this permission issue we are working on. I am working with our support team here to fix this up. If I need any more troubleshooting clues I'll post here and I'll update this once fixed

I tried getting on the Forums last night at home. I kept getting the you don't have permission message although I was logged in.

I'm at work now and it seems OK.

can everyoen verify if this is working right now along with uploads too ONLY if you are on RCU4 before you test (go to RC Community tab in main nav and scroll to bttom and it should say RCU4 if you are on 4. if not do not bother testing as you will be fine..this was a 4 only issue)

I've tried with a dozen or so threads, and see no problems right now.

Hoooray!!! I think it may be resolved finally. also you should see more speed as we are now once again spread across all 5 front end servers and adding a 6th soon. we were running over last couple weeks on 3 to 5 depending on which servers we were doing maintenance on.

I think your issue is not related. can you give me the exact error and verify your server?

I am not having any success in uploading pictures today, normally not a problem.[&o]

O.K. I will try,

After I have selected the desired pictures, press okay, standard message appears regarding large files taking a few moments.

Then I get:- 'HTTP 500 internal server error' and the standard 'unable to find website' message

Please go to http://www.rcuniverse.com/community and scroll to bottom of page. should be a server id there. please verify you are on RCU4

I'm still getting the "windows tunnel" login when i try and click my bookmark straight to the rcjets section.. It did it about 2 minutes ago up until about 1 minute ago on RCU4, but i just tried it again and it didn't bring up the login......

this should all be fixed now. uploads should work on rcu4 ok
