Scott,
My local supplier told me eaarly last year that they could not get it any longer and he was told they were no longer going to manufacture it (Alabama), but others have told me they don't have a problem, so it may be regional. You might want to go to some of the camping stores online and see if you can order it in bulk.
Good luck

Doesn't have to be Powermax. Any version of a Butane/Propane mix will work. Right now, I'm using Campingaz that I got at Big 5 for around $7. Came in a fat quart size (450g) can the same shape as a Jetcat P-80/120 case. There are other brands. Just look in your local sporting goods store. Just remember, these cans don't have a klunk inside so you have to turn them upside down to get liquid out. You won't be able to tell the difference during startup.

Last time I bought Powermax, I couldn't find it locally any more, so I mail ordered it from http://www.scoutmansupply.com/Produc...ProductID=1008
Took a few weeks to arrive, but the price was right, and since I bought something like 24 cans at once, the shipping charges per can came out very low too.

Found it at Sport Authority yesterday. Very cool..5 min form the house and it was $4.99 a can so I picked up 3 for me and 4 for my other friend. spose I should go get a few more cans just in case it's scarce.
