Anton just a suggestion, eliminate the practice of taking deposits for these airplanes. Simply have BVM or some other US dealer stock the airplanes. Then we can order, pay and have it shipped out the same day. Your customers will be much happier. Paying for something that is not in stock is not fun. Waiting for something you have paid for is not fun. This HOBBY is supposed to be FUN. Seems that Skymasters business practices have taken the fun out of this hobby for some.

Hi Anton,

The takeoff and landing were really amazing in the video. I paused it at the end and it looks like the wings have leading edge flaps. Will the production version have them too?

This jet will be a show stopper. In all the years I've been flying RC, I've only seen a flying F-104 three times and it just impressed me and everyone else while flying through the air.

Please post some photos of the airframe when you get a chance.

Looking forward to its release.

Hi, all

Thank you for your interest in F-104. As i told you before, Skymaster will test new thinner wings for F-104 again soon, i hope to achieve that F-104 has the best flying performance before production.

Please wait a few months, then Mr. Likai will finish the scale L/G and my development team will finish all scale details.

Here i want to specially say Thanks to the designer Mr. Heinz Werner Behrens from Germnay, who supported us with very detailed drawings and tips for F-104.With favor of Mr. Heinz Werner Behrens, we saved a lot of precious time to finish successful test.

Mr. Heinz Werner Behrens spent many years for test flight to his F-104. This is why you saw the video for F-104 ,which is very easy to take off and Landing,'

Many thanks to Mr. Heinz Werner Behrens again

Best regards

Anton

Anton....Anton....Anton?
Dear Sir

We have a lot of color selections for each plane. We do have stock for places which are not installed with gear. If we have the stock of color that you order, we can deliver the order in a short time. That’s why some customers can get planes quickly because we have stock of what they order exactly. For not stocked color scheme of planes, from airframe building, painting till installation of gear, it generally take 5-6 weeks time. Without deposit as guarantee, how should we verify which are firm orders and which are not? In such condition,if we spend 6 weeks on production of the orders which can be cancelled at ease finally, this will affect the delivery time of firm orders especially when they are guaranteed with deposit by customers. We never ask customers for full payment on the time of purchase order. But usually most of customers are willing to pay full for the order in the past 10 years of skymaster experience.

Thank you for understand!

Best Regards

Anton

....Jason i agree with Anton!

I have fake orders from "daydreamers" all the time. What you would like me to do?
Stock up 3 Mig's in deferent paint and order a forth one cause i didnt stock the paint customer liked?
And at the end of the day..because "unexpected bills" [:'(] came up customer cant pay for the jet but he will have it f i give it for 50% off?

..i dont need that buisness and as a friend say "money talk and b*ll***** walk"!..you need to pay up frond not for any jet but for YOUR jet to get ready..

IMHO and expirience the serius ONES who like to get THERE FAVORITE jet ,beleave me they dont mind leave a deposite and wait for THERE personal favorite paint job to finish.

..dont know if you are in rc buisness my friend but this goods are too expensive to be stocked..maybe you have a way to suggest so we have no "left overs"??

now can we get the F104 i like one and cant wait ither[&o]

Thanks guys, points taken. I would have no issue with a reasonable deposit for a "custom" jet ARF. The customers that I refrenced earlier had paid in full and that's why I felt it was unreasonable. I'm certinly not asking nor expect anyone to work for free.

SO, what paint schemes will be available?

What will be the required deposit ammount to get on the pre-order list?

Thanks,

Jason

Hi,

Please send SM detailed pictures of the custom F104 you have in mind. Then SM can start designing the decals. There is no list price yet for F104. So SM do not take money, but will start design of decals so save time. When list price is out SM will contact you for deposito to continue with your order. SM plan to release 10 colors for f104. Not finalized yet. My favourite will be metal finished....

Regards

Morne

Here's a link to some color schemes. I like nearly all of them! Although one is missing in the link, the NASA white and blue would be a good one too.

This one is my all time favorite. Very similar to the bird in the movie "The Right Stuff".

Here are some that I pulled from Airliners after looking through some 650 pics of 104's.
I think the Canadian bird with the red tail and wings would be really easy to see on low vis days. Now I'm thinking I need two airplanes. LOL

I know some of these are TF (two seat) airplanes so unless Anton makes a TF version these schemes on a single seater would not be totally correct but I think for modeling purposes (making the airplane more visible) using the TF schemes on a F would be acceptable.

The Chute pic above is for refrence. A jet of this size should have a landing drag chute.
I wonder if Anton has any plans for this?

This is my all time favorite bird. Used to see them at airshows in the '70's and early 80's, Never thought I'd see a model version that didn't have to land at 70mph lol, Sure looks like Skymaster is doing a nice job of this one It's bumped to the top of my "must have" list. RCAF scheme of course
