So far I want to storage my kerosene in the cellar and wanted to know your
experiences - how's about the durability of the kero -
Can you storage it without any issues in dark environment and how long ?

Or is it even better to storage it in bright areas ?

Hint: I've already mixtured it with oil and antistatic - perhaps this is making a difference ? - I don't know.

Would be nice if you give some suggestions.

The Kero is hygroscopic, and it forms seaweed, when I storaged, before use, I use filter separator of particles and water, well, in these conditions, I used kero stored by up to 6 months, one more thing, use clean gallon, I observed minor seaweed formation.
I disassembled turbines with 50 hours without any internal carbonization in the injectors or combustion chamber, but, I use only MOBIL JET II ( recomendation by CARLOS from RTI ).
but, remenber, fresh kero, always better!!!

I have stored kero in my cellar for 6 months with no issue. I do, however, add Biobor JF to all my fuel to prevent the growth of fungus and microbes. I suggest that you use some sort of microbicide when you store kero.

I don't know if this brand is available in Germany, but I'm sure similar products are available. You can buy it on the internet or at a boating or marine supply store. Get a small bottle, you need to add only a few drops per liter.

Also run some fuel with the microbicide in it through your jet before storing it for the winter.

In order to avoid storing try "begging" when you go to the airport to get fuel. Some will provide limited quantities to a few model flyers. If you show up with a 50 gallon tank it's a different story. Try telling them you would be willing to come around on the day they are QC testing the underground tanks....hint, hint. Technically, in states with highway fuel taxes, resellers aren't supposed to pump any fuel into anything that doesn't have a tail number but.... Check around the rural airports. Many of them have 'self-serve' JetA pumps. Obviously, there are some guys for whom it isn't convenient to get anything but large quantities and storing it.
