It's this thing really available? Don't care now if it turbine, gas or glow. I just want to see the wacthacacshu batwing fly.

I had the greatest pleasure today of meeting Mr. Rick Hamel as he was in my little state of Rhode Island!! He asked around town about any local rc flying clubs and lucky for me was pointed in my direction. He is a joy to talk to and spew's knowledge, inteligence and enthusiasm for the hobby! This guy is serious sh@t!

I really would love to see this. Wish they sold them for turbine, I would buy one in a sec. Would love to see any progress

The project is back in progress full swing, and this plane should be out flying this fall, and then over the winter painted and fully detailed [8D] . Right now i am working up the pipe for the 30 lbs thrust that will be giving the wing its blow.. its a very similar to a f117 pipe .. splits and flattens , so trying to set it up without too much thrust loss. Spot welding can be a major pita!! lol [:@]. I can keep this updated here, but i wont post final pics till the jet is show ready

Hey wojtek, has the Batwing flown? What's the status on this project?

What an awesome jet!

Its flying this spring ! .. I needed to redo some of the wing mounts/spars, and now getting the gear and doors all figured out .. its getting there!
