RE: FEJ Where We're Goin' Tomorrow
What about some airliners or execitive jets, you cannot get a ARTF airliner anywhere, something that will take a single turbine in the tail, or take two on the wings like the tri-star or 727.
There are loads of interesting commercial jets that no one is supplying, everyone is doing military stuff.
Please no more Yaks or Extras there are just to many, better to look at older aerobatic stuff like Christen Eagles or big Super Chipmunks something with character.

Mr DJ.
give us SR 71, Eurofighter and F-117!!! All big, off course;-). I had the Aviation design F-117 with ducted fan back in the mid 90`s, and it was a crowd pleaser!

Really think an airliner would be the buisness, the big ones at the shows always turn heads, dont need to be big though the old PCM models L-1011 (tristar) kit at 85" would fly well on a single 15lb turbine. Airliners only need about 45% power to weight so you can have an impressive model without needing two P120's.
The super chipmunk is a beautiful aeroplane and anyone who owned a Goldberg one will tell you it is really superb to fly, one to suit a 45cc petrol would be the buisness.
Great planes used to do a 1/3 scale Christen Eagle but dos'nt seem to be available now. maybe something bigger to take a 100cc twin.

Yes, I think the exact same when I look at a Extra or extremly horrible Edge 540. A guy at our club cant see the appeal of what he calls old fashioned war planes [:@]. (he is talking about spitfires, P51's etc, yes I know ban him from the club!)
Everyone to thier own but if you want to produce something different than everyone else, then an airliner or even a military transporter like a C17 would definatly be different, Just about every company making jets now make a F15, Hawk etc, nice to see one interested in change.

my votes for a p120 size hawker hunter
my votes for a p120 size hawker hunter
I'm currently breakin' them down by prop and jet; listenin' and also hearin' the voices of you guys along with what I thinkFEJ would be more appt to producin'. I have well over 50 birds from you fine gents; of course all won't make it in and even if they did it would take a few years for them to produce them. So I'm going to be practical about my approach, bla, bla, bla. I will let you know which 5 or 10 on both sides: jets and props I'm gonna push hard. Just like I did for the Draken, I will do for each of them, whichever ones they are: research them, obtain photos, real specs, detailed data, drawings, bla, bla, bla and I will also buy Rival 1:48 scale models from my own pocket and provide all to them. All that along with my arguments and reasoning. I worked the Draken for months, but I'm somewhat inlove with that puppy, I mean really and truly inlove. I already named her: Penelope

Lozza, what's goin' on, Baby... so you want a small one of these two? Others would like a large one [img][/img] I'm gonna push them both and see what happens. Many thanks...

As far as prop jobs go....give us a fully decked/detailed Grumman Bearcat in the 100-120" range complete with folding wings and articulating gear. If priced right, I think it would be a huge seller amongst the Warbird community.

RE: FEJ Where We're Goin' Tomorrow
Hey guys, we are going to do the Viper Jet very soon. There will be 2 sizes of it. We are also already working on the A-7 (LARGE!) and are trying to work out the wing on the F-8. This has been going on for about 3 months now. Soon release I hope.
I have talked to James a lot about the F-117 and SR 71.... I have molds for a 128" F-117 now. The problem is shipping size. The same with the SR. We are trying to come up with a large size that we can ship. I will keep you posted on it.
The F-105 is VERY soon and the Cougar (1/5) is right behind it.
Thanks DJ for a great job on the thread...Your my main horse if you never win a race!!!!
