I think there is a clue in the company name - Fly Eagle Jet

For my 2 cents I'd support a P120 powered single seat Hunter. The full size plane had near worldwide service; there are plenty still around in private hands; plenty of great colour schemes.

Hey guys, we are going to do the Viper Jet very soon. There will be 2 sizes of it. We are also already working on the A-7 (LARGE!) and are trying to work out the wing on the F-8. This has been going on for about 3 months now. Soon release I hope.
I have talked to James a lot about the F-117 and SR 71.... I have molds for a 128" F-117 now. The problem is shipping size. The same with the SR. We are trying to come up with a large size that we can ship. I will keep you posted on it.
The F-105 is VERY soon and the Cougar (1/5) is right behind it.
Thanks DJ for a great job on the thread...Your my main horse if you never win a race!!!!

One for a 36 lbs turbine would be even better....

Lowell,

You mentioned a large A-7, any idea how large? Also any word on the projected release date of any information on the large Hawk? Hope FEJ considers doing the Hawk 100 or 200 version. [8D]

As far as prop jobs go....give us a fully decked/detailed Grumman Bearcat in the 100-120'' range complete with folding wings and articulating gear. If priced right, I think it would be a huge seller amongst the Warbird community.
Countryboy, what's goin' on? I'll pass your ideas along...see what happens...many thanks...
Hey DJ, I appreciate that! Also, as long as we're talking props...how about putting a plug in for a civilian job called the Spartan Executive. A large all composite Spartan would be a world first and a hit with the Golden Era of Aviation buffs.

This may be OT, but I’d like to see a P-60 or P-70-size plane that is “stand-off scale†and has been designed with durability, economy and flyability in mind. I’m a Boomerang flyer, and like the fact that the planes take a beating, use off-the-shelf Robart retracts and struts like those from Dreamworks, fit in my small car and won’t scare the beejesus out of me when I make my turn to Final. Surely a military jet could be developed with a non-scale airfoil with a wide speed envelope, standard retracts and robust airframe and still maintain 90% of it’s scale appearance.

Very interesting topic, but if you want to call me Baby, you should take me out to dinner first.

I wish to thank everyone who chimmed in with your desires, comments, jokes, etc.; please continue. But I’m going to hit FEJ up in rounds; round 1 will consist of the following props and jets:
Props:
T-28 Trojan
Skyraider
Bearcat
C-130
Cessna 177
King Air 200
De Havilland Mosquito
ME/BF 109
Christian Eagle
Sea Fury
Jets:
Hawker Hunter
T-38 Talon
F-20 Tiger Shark
A-6 Intruder
E-101 VooDoo
Saab Viggen
F11F Tiger
F4d Skyray
F-104 Starfighter
A-5 Vigilante
Viper Jet, A-7, F-8, F117, SR-71 (possibly), F-105, and Cougar are being looked at already.
So now my unpaid work begins; I will do research, collect data, buy models, etc;with a little sweat and perseverance, you’ll see some of these puppies live and in livin’ color. Again, this is merely round one. I still have a ton of other planes with more to collect as you continue to speak out.
Thanks again.

Hello DJ,

Excellent work, do you have any factory visit pictures?

Also, please can you check if FEJ will make some Vario size helicopters (90+ size)? turbine / gasser?

Also, will the props be 100" wing span+?

Again, keep up the excellent work!!

Regards,

Giles

I have a set of detailed Hawker Hunter drawings and reference photographs.

The drawings are scaled exactly to 1/6 scale, and willl print the correct size. I can send you them if you would like.

Some good reference books are:

Warpaint Series No. 8 - Hawker Hunter by Alan W. Hall - ISSN 1363-0369
Mark 1 Guide - Hawker Hunter F Mk 6/6A - ISBN 80-86637-02-6
Wings of Fame - Volume 20 - ISBN 1-86184-053-5

For plastic models , the best model available is the 1/32 scale Revell Hunter FGA9, and the similar F6.

The FGA9 kit seems slightly harder to find, but this link has one. This would be my preferred version.

This is for the F6

A really good web site for details and photographs

Buck,
After they are done at FEJ there are several of us out here that do them. We check it, send back recomendations and then the kits are released to the public.

Say Buck
So tell me about these evo’s; you know I have 4 160s arriving in a few days from Chad. Chad seems to be a straight up Brother; just like me, and that’s why I had no problems in spending a freakin’ ton of doe on him all at once and on the first time out – you know what I’m saying.
Chances are, these 4 puppies will remain idle for some time, you see, I’m some what ofa slow builder . But two will burn up the sky in my F-14 while the other two will soar back and forth between my LARGE FEJ A-10, F-4, F-15, and a secret twin
Anyways, the real deal, my Brother, will I be well pleased?
