Leider, I appreciate that there was good information presented there. Would you care to do a voice-over in English so the rest of us could learn something from the video? Not being nasty; would like to know what was shown but don't have a clue as I don't speak or understand anything but English!

Fast translation:
first test with the round hopper he had an old felt clunk inside, it gave a pressure of -0,3bar, he said that was already in the dangerzone for a flameout.
Then he removed the felt clunk and had a pressure of -0,1bar.
Then he started to pinch the suction line with pliers to create even more vacuum, cavitation foaming started at -0,6bar.
Last test with coke bottle was to demonstrate why you shouldn't use a regular coke bottle as a hopper. Without a felt clunk it works, however, with the slightest vacuum the bottle collapses thus creating the hazard for a ruptured fueltank.
Regards, Bart.

Oli, Thank you and many others here for this very detailed thread... My ignorance on fuel systems just got removed! I have had 3 flame outs and lucky enough to get away with my models intact. I now can see my mistakes on how I setup each model's fuel system. Thank you!
