as someone else said , i don't think the entire tale is being shared here .
if your friend sold you 600 bucks worth of stuff and it was lost in the mail , and you truly believed that it WAS lost in the mail then i would work with your "friend" and use the fact that he has shipped over 1000 items without a claim to make a case with his shipping provider , insurance or not !
can you give the exact amount of time that has passed between the date shipped and now ? i have had rc stuff lost twice that showed up MONTHS later !
try not to lose a friend over what is probably a simple accidental mistake .
