My Feedback: (1)
In the summer it gets really bright, there is almost no night for a month.
The P80 SE is a really smoothly running, quiet turbine with a fantastic howling sound that fits the Starfighter perfectly! I'm impressed that it started and ran flawlessly in this weather!

Hi, I like it too! Here are some pics. Sadly on the third flight I ran off runway in crosswind and broke the nose cone. The pitot caugt into the vegetation and buried the nose into the ground. However, I glued it together and flew it for total 12 flights last season. Now a new nose and tip tanks are slowly materializing in my working room. Ralle will supply new decals. So the red beast will surely fly again...

What is the 104 like to fly, is it a nice flying machine, or has bad vises ???
Ive liked the look of them, and keen on Avonds kits, so maybe like to do one...

Hi Jeremy,
its a really stable model to fly. It will not tip stall, or be critical in any sense. Only problem may be seeing it correctly in the sky, the tip tanks help in this matter-it is never to be flown without them. The reason I broke mine last season was excessive nose weight and sluggish nose wheel. The room inside is limited, so installing all the equipment CG wise is difficult, of course depending of how big main fuel tank you have. Mine is 1, 5 L (+ 0.7 in two saddles) and that is too much, might just change it back to 1.2 L to keep the nose lighter. Now I just turn the breathing brass tube as horisontal I can to avoid the main tank going completely full. I also had a lighter turbine , a G-80 in the back before, now there´s the less thirsty Jetcat, albeit its bigger an heavier. I have the scale undercarriage, and all the valves and sequencer takes room and make the model quite complex. But, it looks really dangerous in the model field, and usually draws lots of interested onlookers around. The takeoff run is long, so a short grass field will not do. But in a longer one it flies well. If You build one, You probably end up having lots of fun with it! Its also simple to assemble in the field, just the nose with 4 screws and one servo line + pneumatics with BVM EZ-air, and You´re done. Landings will never be long, it drops like a brick when throttle is pulled back. And its faster than it looks as the long fuse lures the eyes in the sky a bit.
