As far as we can tell for the moment, Luxemburg is planning to enter two pilots and at least two (I guess may be up to 6) helpers/supporters, only the coming season will tell...

Hello Everyone!!
I am back on line with everyone else. We have made huge changes to the website and we are starting to add new content almost everyday. Take a look at the site for the weeks to come. Registration will be up and going buy the middle of August.
We Changed the look of the site and you will see some information also change from here and there. The Museum is extremely excited about hosting this event and they are spending many hours in the preparations for hosting this up and coming JWM.
We will start updating (local attractions/ things to do) in the Dayton Area. This will give you and your support team the information you need to visit some of the great Aviation and Non Aviation sites. You will see that their is plenty to do within the Dayton area. We will have things for all ages.
Sponsor/ vendor packages were sent out about 2 weeks ago. Take a look at our website if your interested in supporting the JWM 2011.
We encourage everyone to come and make the difference. Spectators, parking, is free to everyone.
Also, if you have questions, plus don't hesitate to ask.

If you get time. Take a look at the Jet World Masters Web site. [link=http://jwm2011.com]Jet World Masters[/link] we have made some small updates on hotel information. Isiah, our web master is in the process of making a large update on the site. We have information for the "local Activities" and registration coming soon. The Hotel information is up on the site. The Holiday Day Inn will be the IJMC hosting Hotel. All you have to do is call the hotels and make your reservation. All the other hotels on the site are just a few minutes from each other and also just 10 minutes from the event. Make sure you mention the Jet World Masters.
For all of you that are on Facebook. I have just made a Facebook page for you to post questions and also look at things that I am posting. I have also started a couple different open discussions on that facebook page. I will be posting more about activities, lodging, sponsors and etc. If you have any question you can post them on there or email Roger Shipley or myself. We will also be posting more information about U.S. Customs and how to ship your aircraft to the museum.

Hi Dewey and Roger,
Your preps seem to be on track.
When are you going to start releasing organistion ainformation to the IJMC Country reps, on a heads up first basis?
So that they can get their different country teams up to speed, and generally keep the IJMC country reps and country members informed.
Less than a year out, and no Information Bulletins (example Bulletin No. 1, 2 or3 etc) sent to IJMC or country reps.
Country reps need to organise multiple groups of people, from all around the globe, with travel, accomodation, box transport etc, etc - and the only info is we have to go and search on RC UNiverse - not the way its done in my opinion - if I am wrong on this, I will take the bullet.
But from my side of the pond as a country rep (two countries in fact) there has been nothing - sorry.
Regards

Hi Roger and Dewey,
Sorry if I appeared brash and pushy, it was not supposed to come across that way - my apologies.
Its just that I am getting questions from both countries jetpilots I represent, Australia and New Zealand, and I don't have answers.
I will wait for news broadcasts from now on - thanks for the heads up.
Best Regards

Hello Everyone
Sorry that we haven't undated to much on RCU lately. I will start to update more and more until the event. We have been working extremely hard on getting everything together for the 9th Jet World Masters. The Museum staff has had a full time employ working on the organization of the event and also the budget for hosting such a event. We are planning many activities for everyone. You can follow us on our Web site [link=http://jwm2011.com]Jet World Masters[/link], Facebook [link]http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/group.php?gid=105463609512690[/link], and also on RCU.
Here are a couple updates that you will see on the web site.
1. Hotel information
2. registration information
3. activities, things to do
4. bulletin 0 information, more to follow
5. sponsor information
King Tech Turbines has sponsored the event along with Greene County (convention and visitors Bureau). I am speaking to many other potential sponsors for the event but none has committed quite yet. What make this event different than most is that it is held on Federal property so we can not charge for parking or admission from the spectators. So donations and sponsors would make things run much easier. Sponsoring the event will give you a opportunity to advertise your products to a world wide venue. Demo flying times, logo's on our posters, and most JWM media that is printed are just a couple things we can offer for supporting the event. This is a competition for all the modelers but it will be a community event for the local Dayton area and all the other spectators. Since the admission is free for spectators and with the advertising the National Museum of the United States Air Force does, we are planning on well over 100,000 spectators for the duration of the event.
I have a real Barnstormer coming in from Wisconsin with a 1929 New Standard Bi-plane to give rides from the Greene County ( I19) airport. This New Standard holds 4 passengers at a time. Ted will be able to fly his pattern over the Museum so you can see the event from the air. Nothing like getting a ride in a old open cockpit Bi-plane!!
Our (Dinner Under the Wings) is something very special. The Museum usually has (Dinner Under the Wings) for Generals, Presidents, or very special evenings that the museum host. The (Dinner Under the Wings) is a one of a kind dinner for anyone. Held in the modern day hangar for approximately 700 people. While you eat dinner and enjoy your friends and family, you will be surrounded by aircraft like the B-52, F-100, F-22, and other aircraft. We have also put in a request to have the Air Force band of Flight to perform live during our evening of dinner
You won't get to experience it if you don't come.
One evening we will also have open house in the museum. This will allow us to tour the museum after hours. Seeing the museum after hours is awesome because they open up cockpits of some fighter aircraft that aren't usually opened. Getting the opportunity to look in a real F-22 isn't everyday.
That's it for now, We hope you are planning on coming to the 9th Jet World Masters held at the National Museum of the United States Air Force next July 24- August 6... Your support will be much appreciated and never forgotten.
Thank you

Yes it was great to meet you also. I wish I had more time to get back out to the jet events but work has not allowed me to have much free time lately. I had a lot of fun at the Best Of The West event, just wish I couple have stayed longer. US Jet World Masters Inc. thanks you for sponsoring the JWM2011. You will really enjoy being here.
