Kind of hard to believe that the judges saw those things from 15 feet away. But then they are trained to look for things like that I guess. We could've been looking at a 1, 2, 3 sweep of the 20Kg Class by the Russians if the Mig's had scored better in Static.

I didn't get in to photograph too much of the Static Judging and had missed the 'up close and personal' part of it. Now I'm curious to know what the judges saw that kept the Yak 130 from getting perfect scores

Gentlemen,
Does anyone have any info on Sebastian's F-16 ADF? Is it a custom built or a modified kit?
I know to the typical eye it's just another F-16, but look up close- it is not. Thats the "clean", lightweight interceptor version.
There were a crap load of those flying for ANG units until not so long ago, and with so many Viper pilots in the US that fly R/C and more than likely flew the ADF, I cannot beleive no one has made one locally.
Thanks,
David

Thanks Andy. I had fun shooting the low angle, close up stuff to give the sense that these weren't models. The lower flight shots had the benefit of air base structures to strengthen the illusion.

Dear Teresa, David and Roger !
I arrived save home after two wonderful weeks in Dayton / Ohio ! First of all a big big thank you for all the work you and your crews had done to present us a wonderful Jet World Masters. For me, as the chairman of the IJMC, it was after years the most relaxing one and this shows how perfekt and professional your organisation was. After having bad luck with the blown up marquee you did not complain but you started again and fixed all problem in a very short time. Nobody will forget this and this Jet World Masters will stay as one of the best ones for ever.
One of my personal highlights was the closing ceremony inside the museum which will stay in our minds for ever !!!
Thank you to all participants for a fair competition full of kameradery and fun, and again to all volunteers and helpers who made this event to their personal success. You all can be very proud of the work you have done for your country and for the IJMC.
For us from Europe the words "yes, we can" have become a new meaning at this Jet World Masters!!!
