No there is lots of space around, its the flat side of the tyre which touches the top of the wheel well.
Retract the gear and open the main gear doors and see of the wheel rotates...

OK, pushing the leg fully up on mine and rotating the wheel...it leaves this mark!

OK. I get similar scuff-marks on mine and the wheel turns fine, but I discover there is less air-pressure on the right mains, this does not help matters either......
