I am close. Last night I got the front board in place and upon testing the air system I found a leak...bad T....

Tonight I should have it complete with the exception of the cockpit/canopy. I have been saving them for last.

I like the "distributed" equipment install as it makes some aspects easier but you still run out or room quickly on this jet.

The Maiden is set for Sunday, weather permitting. She looks fast to me, I hope Jake does not have too much problem with it.

Maybe some pictures tomorrow....

I’m sure Jake will do fine. If I remember the last time we were on the flight line with the Boomer Jake was saying he wished it were faster!!

He is going to love the bandit!!

Jeff, with the smoke pump installed in that location will the header tank sit in its "mount" properly? I had to mount mine aft of the bulkhead that the fuel pump sits on.....

Dave, What forward tank do you have?

I have the newest one and the front half is at an angel and it clears both pumps.

Im running a P-80.

Do you have the pipe installed yet?

Can it be done?....the answer is......YES!

She, with very minor exception, is complete. Too tired for pictures tonight....

I did the best I could with the time alloted....

Jeff, I must have an older version of that same tank.....The pipe is installed, along with everything else!

Pictures and engine runs tomorrow!

She Flys!

3 flights today and everything went nearly perfect. Chad (Sin City Jets) made the first two flights, Jake made the 3rd. The Bandit flew sweet and the booster 90 pushed her right along!

Jake handled it like a pro....he even shot a great landing! Overall it was a great day! I have a few pictures to share....

I would like to thank a few people that helped me get this project done:

Chad, for his endless support and encouragement. He made this happen, he is a true gentleman and he treats Jake like his own.

evoJet Booster Engines

Patty and Bob at BVM, they were instrumental in getting this project off the ground (no pun intended). They run a tight ship and were extremely helpful.

Rob Lynch, thanks for the custom pipe and technical support.

Steve Morris for covering me on needed parts and several tech support calls

And most importantly, Mrs InboundLZ for allowing me to spend the last 40 days in the shop!

Looking forward to California Jets!

Congrats again to you and Jake Dave. It was a long time coming, but well worth the wait. I can't wait to see Jake grow to the "next level" with that Bandit.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the Bandit Arf is the best flying plane I've ever flown (Ultra Bandit included).

You the man Jake!

Chad
