Default KINGTECH K80 ECU

HI guys,
I have a problem with the K80.When i'm connecting the battery to the ECU nothing happens. The LED on the ECU is not light on and the only thing happens when i'm connecting the battery is one strange sound like "tak" and that's all.
What do you thing happening?

Thank's in advance for any replies...

The same thing happened on the 3rd time I went to start my brand-new Rabbit.(same ECU as yours) Eric had me try a few things, then determined that the ECU was dead.He over-nighted me a new one and I've had no trouble since. Sometimes you just get a bad one. Very rare, but it happens.

You must connect both batteries, ecu battery and RX battery. Ecu battery is switched trough RX power.

The Receiver must be "ON" to activate the ECU . The "ON" signal for the ECU comes from the receiver , actually you can leave the ECU battery connected to the ecu and only turn off the receiver.
