First scuff up the inside of the frame with 80 grit or similar, and make sure there are no sharp strands of glass sticking up as these will scratch the canopy.
Various glues work, Pacer I think make a 'canopy' glue which is water soluble, after carefully inserting the 'glass' into the frame clamp it making sure its a good fit all round. There is a neat trick of using magnets to replace the clamps which some builders use.
I tend to lift one edge and run a bead of glue in and then re-clamp until dry, then repeat for the other side. Being water soluble it can be wiped off the 'canopy' if it speads, spreading is a drawback to this glue as its rather runny.
Option two is to use a fast two part plastic epoxy product, same method as before but here glue strips of around 2" or so at a time, leaving each to go off before moving on to the next one.
Its advisable to also carefully scuff the canopy with sandpaper as well, best to trial fit in the frame and mark the edge so you know where to sand to.

Shoe Goop or Goop works well and if you get it on the visible part, after it dries it will peel off and not leave anything visible on the canopy. available at Westlakes or Ace hardware.

This is the stuff I like to use. It can be cleaned up with water and dries (pretty) clear. Wrap some rubber bands around the canopy/airfrmae to help make a nice tight seal but be careful not to distort the canopy by using bands with too much tension.

Hope that helps!

Also to help keep the canopy in position while drying, I use rare earth magnets to squeeze the canopy to the frame. they work well and give you the abilty to clamp where a normal clamp won't work. Also you can slide them down into position if some area are hard to get to.

i always apply masking tape to the entire canopy first, then insert it into the frame and use a pencil to draw an outline of the frame, then carefully remove the tape in the area to be glued, then you won't scratch the canopy while gluing it in. you can also use the glue of your choice as it can't get all over the canopy because it's masked with the tape. i use V-poxy.

Rare earth magnets are the way to go...they clamp well and allow the canopy to flex preventing bubbles along the edge. I like Weld-Bond glue...dries clear and excess can be rubbed off cleanly when dry with a finger if necessary. Google Magcraft magnetic products. I use the 1/4 x 1/4 cylindrical mags and it takes about 60 pieces to do a canopy.

The Rare earth magnets sound like the way to keep it in Place and allow the glue to flow well. Weld-bond who or were to purchase ??

You absolutely can not beat the formula 560. Stays flexible and will only let loose when physically pry the pieces apart. Then it can be peeled off leaving a clean surface to do it all over again.
Excellent stuff that I use for much more than just canopies.

Ace Hardware sells the Weld-Bond glue...I've used all the others and like it best.

Looks like earth magnets will be the best for this large Canopy. I am going to have to use them every four inch ???.

Thanks
