Default New Jetcat ?

I heard a rumor from a friend who heard it from a friend whose second cousin's brother in law knows a guy whose neighbor heard that Jetcat may be coming out with a new mid sized engine... Nothing on either website at the moment....
Any speck of truth in this, or is it just wishful thinking ???

Maybe you were confusing it with the new WREN-100 (100N thrust) ?

Just trying to keep things balanced.

P-100 around 22lbs of thrust with a can that is the same diameter as a p-70 but it is shorter then a p-70. I think it is going to be shown at Jetpower.

Doesn't matter what they come out with, as long as the one you have is reliable and meets your needs...

I don't think you'll ever regret owning an 80SE, they are fantastic engines.

Hello all,

Are you sure that a new P100 (SX ???) will be shown at Jetpower ?

It will be very interesting for me because I am looking for something reliable for my Graupner Inspiration since the Evojet 90 is no more available......

Thank you
Jean-Philippe

Don't be sad, we got them for a good price.
Even if you buy a new car it's already a few years out of date when you drive it away from the dealer.

Will you be taking out the Euro200 48 month service voucher ? (yellow form in the jetcat box), have to decide within 30 days of purchase.

The P100 was supposed to be out in May/June-then the Euro holiday pushed it back to July/ Aug. Its should be around any day now. Last I heard they had it up to 24 pounds thrust as it keeps getting "tweeked a bit". Size is slightly bigger than a P60 and slightly smaller than a P70. I am PRETTY sure this one will also come with the new smaller ECU. I am first on the list (sure) for one. My Comp ARF Mig15 is waiting for it. Scotty.

That would be impressive thrust for a turbine that small. Wonder what kind of rpm's it would take to get that much power.

That part of the brother in law is not true because he never got married !

However, it would make sense to replace the P-80 item because nowadays they can achieve a much higher performance for this size (and weight).

Uhmmmm, yeah.

Like 36 lbs for the same size and weight. (the 160 is same diameter, weighs only 4 oz more).

I know what u meant, tho. Several smaller/lighter engines make almost P-80 power.

Smaller size with more thrust means more revs= noise the current P80SE is the quietest turbine you can get, and in these noise sensitive times that is an important factor to consider.

Is this thread all just wishful thinking? With all due respect to the original poster, are we relying on one source or has anyone else heard anything about this new engine?
