So were are the Pictures for those of us abroad !!!!

Great pictures Alan, keep them coming. Looking into a possible trip next year, you know, jets and then Oktoberfest.

P1000 is a bit of a monster any idea on $$$.

Well all it was Tomahawk and had a JC P550 in it
do not know if they are kitting it but currently that’s the only one!
pic I took said it was rated at 1100N

Getting up close and personal with some of the models are fantastic. The XXXL floating blimps are not really for me and I would have preferred more realistically sized models that one can actually transport in/ with a car and don't need a truck or special trailer for. Even the helicopters are now getting silly in size. Nevertheless, one of the standout's for me are the BlueSky Models - absolutely amazing scale detail.

Enjoying all the little building bits and the interesting tools. Some rather nice tools and field equipment on show too.

Great to put faces to so many names that I have only dealt with online or on the phone. Also good the catch up with guys I last saw at WJM 1997 at Wrougton UK.

In that thread Oli started about the big Cougar build, when I commented about all the neat stuff they have and that, what is it a 1/3 scale Cougar? he said they've got more stuff coming down the pipeline including some more reasonably sized stuff in probably 1/7 scale to help with the problems you mention. The other issue with that big stuff is that you need a full time ground crew to get the thing in/out of the trailer and assembly/disassembly to fly.... lol

I don’t understand why all the manufacturers do these big jets. I can’t imagine that many would buy them. I think they need to remember that we’re rc pilots not full size pilots. Bigger isn’t always better. They would sell more regular size planes than giant stuff

Well think about how much easier it is to get the large jets across the pond, not many folks over here can afford to pay $1400plus just in shipping.

Nice to see some F84's finally hitting the market, they should fly really well.

From those visiting, honestly how does it compare to the even Winnie used to run? The pictures don't really give much away but things look a little less well laid out. I'm not there this year as wanted to take a break but any feedback will help me decide what to do next year.

Bob, for a ‘new 1st’ show I think it’s been excellent with the weather making it even better, the only thing that was strange was you had to get vouchers for your drinks and then they charged you double as it was deposit on glass/bottle but if you had credit left on card when done they refunded the amount with cash etc Think it was done to ensure all glasses/bottles were brought back
Unfortunately a few pilots came to grief with the large runway lights by turning off the runway so far away from were they were and obviously they could not judge exactly where they were between them!
Harry agree with you about how food was set up, was more compact but again this sort of event takes a lot of work and I think the team have done a great job

Marc realised you was not there, to be honest it definitely felt like we were at JetPower!

Also was good to meet up with Oli again, that guy has certainly been busy! Very nice work Oli and not just the jets!
Have moved on from JetPower with the wife and currently now in St Gallen, Switzerland on our motorcycle making the most out of a 2 week break!
