Default Jetpower 2018

A little over a month away now. Should be a interesting Jetpower this year as it’s at a new location. Does anyone know what the new location is like? What’s new and exciting coming to Jetpower this year?

Can’t wait... Had missed last year after 9 consecutive visits.
New location, same friends, will be fun.
looking for a New 140N project, can be sport or scale with minimal work, anything new coming up?

Chatty.

It’s a larger airfield-without the restrictions. The flying is likely to have a show element to it. There will be at least as many exhibitors, some new from Southern Europe. Motors & Rotors are all booked in, there is still a large British contingent heading south, even with the longer drive.

We'll have a joint stand with Airbus.

airports it’s probably best you fly to Munich, but Nuremberg is around the same distance

Will you be taking the Skyray. What will Airbus be doing? I joked in last years jetpower thread that the Rc jets are getting so big that one year Boeing and Airbus will attend lol

Yes, the Skyray should make it.
We are due to release the fuselage plug in 2 days from now.
The wings and small molds are all released and laminated in full carbon fiber. Internals to be glued in tomorrow.

Airbus came to us to create a joint-venture to promote aeronautic and try to steer more young future engineers to them.
I discussed here previously the fact that the amount of vocational talented young aero engineers was decreasing noticeably.
Our goal is to make young people dream by creating superlative models and offering them to the public.

The idea is to create vocations by pushing dad and son to fly models together. In other words, we are trying to influx new energy to the hobby.

There are tons of tutorials on the internet about this, within the Fusion 360 community. It all comes down to time and dedication!

So, JetPower 2018 starts today at a new venue, new team. We arrived yesterday after a 13 hour drive, the team have done an amazing job. The site looks amazing, starting fresh with an event this size must be a daunting job, stands were being completed as we left last night and there was plenty to look at new.
I wish everyone involved a successful show
