Not saying I am going to do it right away. I want to fly it too,;)
But these will be nice to have when it gets cold and I need something to do.
I do think missiles are comming soon. That just makes the plane for sure.

Guys,

A little more progress today. All I can say is that you guys that get mirror finish perfect paint jobs then I admire your skill no end!!! [X(]

Anyway, my efforts.....

1. Underside sprayed very light grey/white
2. Underside masked out ready to spray top of wing
3. Top side sprayed light aircraft grey - the vinyl 'panels' work quite well I think?!?
4. Another shot of 'panels'

1. Spraying underside of fuselage grey/white
2. Another shot of grey/white on underside.
3. Fuselage completed in light aircraft grey.

Now the fun of masking out the camo?!?! [&:]

Yes but I shoot them with a thin coat of 'plastic primer' from an aerosol first.

Any sign/sticker shop will have it.

I guess you could even use protrim but if you get a sign writer to cut the vinyl for you you can get perfectly round corners etc

Got the blue camo on tonight. Oh isn't masking a joy! Fortunately I had the wife helping me out so it halved the time it would have taken me!!!

Plan on spraying the U/C and wheels grey/white tonight and changing the paint line of the white on the underside of the nose slightly.

Will post pics if I do it.

Need to get the grey camo paint tomorrow so I can finish her off.

Yeah,
But sometimes you never spot the panel line you missed on the other wing, or the run in the paint.:eek::D
