Much thanks to the 332nd for putting up a VERY nice show.

I was supposed to go to an EDF show in Kentucky got sick and was not ready to go on Thursday but woke up Saturday morning good enough to make the local show and had a GREAT time.

oh yeah and thanks to Johnny "don't use the speed brake" Hernandez and Bryce Grim Reaper Watson for the entertainment.

thanks
Jose (known to Johnny as Robert ?)

Ok.............................Storytime.......... ..................first, I don't know how the Red Tails were able to pull this off, or how much everyone was paid, (cause J and I certainly did'nt see any checks.) But I have to say, "Hat's off to all you guys and girls who put this thing together, THERE WAS SOME SERIOUS TALENT BOTH DAYS DURING THE NOON TIME DEMOS! I mean SERIOUS in every category, prop, jet, and helicopter. Some well known dudes as well as those who "fly in the shadows", but are truly World Class in flying ability. ;)

First up is Freestyle Champion Ivan Gutierrez, Ivan went to town with his demo set to music. His performance was nothing short of breathtaking and amazing.

That's right, the prop is stopped and Ivan rolled to a stop right in front of himself everytime with no brakes.

Heavyweights.;) Jeff did an awesome job flying his sequence while Tom took over on the mic to let everyone know what manuvers were being performed and what judges would be looking for if this were an actual event. Excellent commentating.

Next up was Eddie Selva and the giant Ultimate Biplane. Eddie did his thing to the delight of the spectators and pilots alike, especially his low level inverted high alpha passes, he was flying so slow, at one point, we all began to chant "backwards, backwards, backwards!"

J and I flew several sorties during the weekend, but we had the most fun flying formation during the half-time show, I have to admit trying to fly two different aircraft with a scale this far apart is no fun, but we did the best we could. Unfortunately, all of the pictures on my camera of our formation loops and manuvers somehow did'nt come out.[:@] Nonetheless we had a blast!
