:DWell Guys I finally got a few flights under my belt with my turbine. I just hope my landings are as nice as they were with my F-86. Hey Bryce nice try but the 332nd has nothing to fear. You just never know who the Grim Reaper is coming for. [>:]

Well here it is another weekend of fun and excitement. So let the trash talking begin and look it's the biggest talkers there are on here starting already. But if I remember correctly at just about all of the jet meets Johnny you are on the side lines pretending to fix your planes or someone else is flying them for you. [sm=cool.gif] Bryce you can talk it because you back it up..:D and for the 332nd there are only a few of you who go to the jet meets, and even fewer that fly in them. We'll see who backs up all the trash this weekend.

Will it be the 332nd [sm=punching.gif] or Johnny and Bryce?

Come and watch the fireworks this weekend.:D:D

Well this time folks J and I found ourselves back in town for a "home game" against familiar friends and foes at the First annual Big Bird & Jet Fly In, at Markham Park. This event was sponsored by the 332nd Red Tail Flyers.

Of course given the direction of the wind (approaching to land from over the highway and trees) and the fact this is "The Carrier" when it comes to landing jets. J needed all the luck he could get.

Saturday morning was a bit nippy for most of us Florida folk and thus there were a lot of windbreakers, due to the passage of an overnight cold front, but this was just fine for turbine performance.;)

As the tents slowly began to go up, the taxiways quickly began to fill with heavy hardware.

Everything from propjet and turbine.........

And everything in between, began to litter the field.

Along with their usual assortment of jets, the Studnick family brought along and flew this beautiful gigantic glider towed aloft by a very cool towplane.

Jose Martinez arrived with two very cool electric ducted fans, an F-86 and a Rafale both with retracts and 20 minute flight times. The Rafale was absolutely ballistic, a true "jet performing" EDF. Very, very impressive! Nice show Jose.
