Is that 4900 USD or Euros?

Probably euros !

here's a vid i took of the two J10 German 3D Jet pilots, enjoy!

I agree the mig is amazing, how come he sells it for twin P70's and he himself uses twin P160 SE's ????

We can easily find the difference between J10 and Mig-29 OVT in the same flipping maneuve. The J-10 is out of controlled in roll motion.

Mr Matt,

You are right about the weight. It uses two plastic bags for extra fule to balance the mdel. Then it is withdrwan to get the weight below 20KG, nice trick?

Seba is excellen pilot and person, very nice man.

4900 eur translates to about $6900 us dollars.

Thats an expensive arf when you still have to pay over $7000 for engines, radio gear and accessories.

what brand dual axis gyro?

Why on the ailerons? I thought it would be on the elevator and rudder (controlling the thrust vectoring servos only)

RE: Seba's 3-AXIS Vectoring Mig Video

It has twin engines. Aileron input will vector one Tail cone up the other down, thus affecting the roll as well as pitch( Elevator) and yaw( Rudder). Thus the term 3 axis thrust vectoring.

I have no idea what gyro., who makes a dual axis gyro?, not many companys,. should be easy to figure out., thats all the info I saw in his bud's post.. and yea, what terry said- about the ailerons..

RE: Seba's 3-AXIS Vectoring Mig Video

now that explains why he was so smooth in this video GYROS
in his previous video he had poor vector control of this beast,,
now I am not impress [:o]
definite 1/2 pilot skills here
and 1/2 GYRO processors skills
I guess it looked good

some day some one will hover with out GYROS close to the ground

Gyros or no gyros, that's a better jet flight than most people could ever accomplish.

Let's give some credit to the pilot. The plane would not fly without him.

RE: Seba's 3-AXIS Vectoring Mig Video

AGREED, EVEN WITH GYROS THAT IS STILL EXTREMELY DIFFICULT.. THE GYROS JUST ASSIST AND MAKE IT A LITTLE SAFER, AND MY OPINION IS FROM EXPERIENCE NOT JUST OBSERVING.. JUST BUILDING AND SETTING A JET UP TO DO THAT REQUIRES A MAXIMUM EFFORT..
AND AS FOR THE MUSIC- I THINK IT IS PERFECT- "A NEW DAY HAS COME!!" .. THRUST VECTORING IS GOING TO BE A BIG PART OF THE FUTURE OF AVIATION.. NOT JUST IN R/C JETS BUT FULL SCALE AS WELL, AND NOT JUST MILITARY.. SO GET READY !

RE: Seba's 3-AXIS Vectoring Mig Video

OMG! I'm not going to pretend to know jets here but, that was
definitely the most amazing thing I've seen in RC yet.

So is the vectoring basically mixed with the surfaces here and then
able to be turned on and off? Please explain how that works!
I never thought I'd actually ever see a jet hover, but it's nice
of you guys to bring it in perspective...actually kinda makes sense
now.I thought it was a joke when I saw an ad here that said "you
can 3D with jets"...almost LMAO!

BTW...where do you find women with Murcielagos or any women for that matter
that actually dig RC flying? Only in Italy for REAL!:D[8D]

carbunkle 12-30-2007 07:29 PM

RE: Seba's 3-AXIS Vectoring Mig Video

tailpipe movements are mixed to standard controls usually pitch and yaw, but Seba's mig has twin turbines and twin vector pipes thus allowing roll control during hover, hi-alpha, or zero airspeed..
and I think the women come more with money than the r/c planes. :D

Sportflyr 12-30-2007 10:32 PM

RE: Seba's 3-AXIS Vectoring Mig Video

Thanks for the chick tip...yeah I guess it's like that everywhere!:D

So if I'm correct, he's flying with the nozzles locked on t/o and lndg.
and there's a p-mix switched to activate the vectoring? I take
it there's multiple rates on the nozzles too as you wouldn't
want to fly normal with the nozzles moving too abruptly
and swinging the tail out.

Thanks Again.
