Well one of the "Flash Teams" after hours foamies bit the dust today. I folded the wing up on my Alfa Models Focke Wulf aka "Butcher Bird" do to to much power. I guess thats what I get for talking crap and putting a Little Screamers Super Park Jet on the front of it. It didn't like a wide open aileron roll [X(]
Anyways the "Flash Team" will be there early Friday and I can speak for the rest of us. WE CAN'T WAIT!!!

Oh and Roger we'll have you ham. ;)

two tents...one 10x10, and one 14x14. the grill needs about the same width as a big camper, so two and a half spots will do. Planned arrival: Thurs afternoon.

We just got back from DOGS, and the planes need a little TLC, so hopefully all goes well this week for the trip.

A 42" plasma on the side wall with remote rotation...maybe videos of each days happenings???
Say keep the Flash buddy between the white lines til rotation down the center line.

You got it goose.....a spot for flying and a spot for chow and snoozing.
That's a roger on the TLC....no hanger queens they were created to fly, maintain and repair.

OK looks like we will get a timely break for flying all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday under sunny skies, 60 to 70 degrees temperature. Winds from a high of 9 mph to a low of 3 mph all out of the NW which is perfect for our Litchfield A/P 18/36 runway.
We are headed there to set up today, wait out the rain Thursday and fire em up Friday AM.....whew what a relief. Route 66 RC Club

Two of us from Oklahoma are planning on flying up for the day on Sat like we did last year.

We are at the Litchfield A/P, have set up 3 big tops, porta potties, impound/registration trailer, etc. etc.
Not a drop of rain at 7PM, 71 degrees, but still assume there will be some rain tonight although we are in a break in the front for now.
Anyway Friday, Saturday and Sunday still looks ideal.
Please use the private field entrance South of the Aministration building to our flying site on R/W 18/36.

Looks like Friday will be dry and sunny, and then Saturday and Sunday look fantastic.

Wasnt gonna go since D.O.G.S. was a long 8.5 hour drive back home and wore us out, but I'm having flight withdrawls again so we will be there Friday afternoon with the BobCat See ya soon and keep that rain away for goodness sakes!

Team Flash will be leaving the Blue Grass this evening. We have four flashes coming to burn some kero. Roger,Jim , Sharon and Gizzy we will be at the field early Friday mourning. Roger wait til you see Justins Flash go. it is nuts on the accelleration.

WOW, it appears like we are going to have the majority of the club members and a few newbies.
Don't you just love it when a plan comes together......
The South field entrance is open so you can drop your trailers on the taxi way for the moment or just stay hitched til the rain stops.
If you like you can go ahead and mark your shelter spot with poles. tables, road kill, dirty laundry, snares, snatch traps or whatever.
Oh yea, the motor homes/house tralers can go ahead and local as usual on the East side of the taxiway.

Well it's 10pm on Thursday evening, Gustav is miles off to the NE so we are good for go Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
