Hi Sandor

I've been thinking about getting a set of your gear for my viper to save it from my odd landings lol. Is there anyway they can be rounded off at the edges to make them look a bit better and a little less, well, agricultural? I know that your gear is the strongest out there, but a bit like yourself, these have a face only a mother could love ;)

At the minute it's like trying to choice between a JR and Multiplex tx, everyone knows how good the programing is on a MPX tx, but noone wants to be seen with a pizza box hung around their neck, so go with the better looking JR :D

Duncan
ok Duncan
got them done and send of for anodising
the look indeed a "bit"better ;)

Sandor, and what about this???[X(]

http://shop.digitech-turbines.com/pr...6d521lujm24bd1

I went to jetcat.de without finding it because I didn't read well your explanations...
It's a really interesting unit, which will be approximately the final price? It will be Available only from April-May?

Lol Carsten

I got a little more done on my viper last night. The front canopy glass is now in, cheers to Ali for sorting me out with a new one after I cracked the first. The front cockpit cover and extension are in. The only bits left apart from some paint touch up are to finish glassing the cockpits and to install the stab servo's. I'm hoping to get these done by the time the new wing tube turns up, so all being well, the maiden will be in the next couple of weeks.

RE: Another Skymaster Viper

Guys,
another Viperjet here in Denmark are missing the threads in the block that holds the fin to the fuse (like Sverrir/"Selleri").
We were wondering if it is on purpose no threads are there, and that you are supposed to mount a bolt/nut and make it permanent, that would also explain the 4mm Tnut in the fin....
The thread in the block are marginal, and we are considering designing a new mounting block (in fact, already done i CAD)

I ran up the 160SE for the first time tonight, all was good, it sounds awesome in the model.

It's so close now, just got to finish the stabs and it will be ready for it's maiden :D

I got around to maiden my VJ this past weekend. Our master photographer "Kryder" made some good shots of the first flights.
I can only agree with you guys. It flies incredably well even on my old Simjet 2300.

I got them from Aces of Iron
http://www.acesofiron.com/5th_scale_civ.htm
You have to paint them yourselves. (I didn't do very good on this task) ;)

Hey Stig,
Well done, The VJ looks great in that scheme. It' such a pretty plane that I think it would suit many different colours. Infact I think the ugliest are the stock factory colours.. How weird is that?
Whats with the no flap landings??? Oh and I love the posing photos by the way. Not quite florida jets, but 10 out of 10 for your efforts :D

Rob, FYI. This pilots are head and shoulders only.
Regards Al
