RE: My Apologies
ORIGINAL: quist I guess all of your posts are a nice distraction to this thread. I wonder if you would treat it the same if he was ranting about the Tuskegee Airman. Ooops sorry guys, I forgot. Please accept my apologies. ;) *who are the Tuskegee Airman? |
RE: My Apologies
Bryce,
Please stop embarrassing yourself and dragging down the professional aviation profession. You are not being funny, cute or helpful in any way. This is a serious topic, and your nonsensical diverts are doing nothing more than demonstrating mental instability. Now, people are identifying you as an airline pilot, which is bad for all professional aviators. Act like an adult and keep your childish posts to the plastic model websites. Beave |

RE: My Apologies
Ah, thanks Bryce [sm=rolleyes.gif][sm=spinnyeyes.gif][sm=50_50.gif], and now back to our regularly scheduled programming:
ORIGINAL: sandslx Bla bla bla quack quack quack....You guys are a bunch of blow hard johny come latelys' in the jet community. Make no mistake If you cant build or maintain your own jet....you shouldnt have a waiver...period. I cant wait to see some of you South western Cali Valley Girls in action at Vegas. Ill bring an extra extinguisher for you non BVM clowns...or some wrenches whatever comes first. Nice thread...talking like a bunch of wiggers on BET. Justin Sands BVM rep Team JR/Horizon ORIGINAL: sandslx To all the Cali crew and anyone else I may have offended, I apologize for my comments. For those of you who do not know me, the passion for the sport got the best of me. I want to bring together a safer jet community, one that appreciates how fragile our position is in the modeling community. All it takes is one devastating event to impact all of us. One look at me and you will know I am not exactly the posterchild for safety. Accidents happen, I have to live with mine every day of my life. Are you willing to do the same? Again, my apologizes to everyone. Justin Sands BVM rep Team JR/Horizon ORIGINAL: quist So your Unprovoked rant on the SVJ thread was out of your concern for safety? Call me crazy, but I don't see it. Sounds like spin. Regards, Jim |
RE: My Apologies
Quote "My sincere apologies to those hurt.
I think competition is great for all as it keeps us on our toes. "Our brand" of laissez faire, I suppose. I was somewhat terse as I was on my Iphone (which is no excuse really). Since my post was quoted, it will be there for everyone to see, but I'll erase it anyways! I'm sure Mr. Clapp is a super stand up guy and the jet central turbine owners seem happy with with their engines. It is also VERY clear that this transaction is not "run of the mill" for Eric or Todd. Best of luck to all! Raf PS. And again, I only meant some well meaning rib poking. God KNOWS I get tons of it! " End Quote Justin, that is how you apologize. We ALL put our foot in our mouths. You don't make excuses, you man up that you were being "off quilter" or whatever childish "insert" you'd like. I commend you for trying though. Here, this is how you should do it: Hey guys, sorry for being such a foolio on these threads. I was outta line and I really shouldn't have said all those nasty things. I love to fly these jets as much as you guys do and just took it too far. My apologies to all but especially Ron, Shui, Joe C, Uncle Joe and Dougie. Those personal attacks should never have taken place and I'm gonna make sure to voice my "real" concerns with you guys in private. Now lets go fly some jets! [sm=thumbup.gif] Sincerely, Justin Sands And now for YOU Bryce! :) Your posts are WAY RANDOM!! And good for you for not letting these guys beat you down too much. And remember, we over here on the west coast, you mess with one bean you mess with the whole burrito!! :D Lay off my BOYZ!! Raf |

Im going to have to ride on Bryces and Hef's side on this one... Good gosh...... I do enjoy reading the threads on here about anything west coast, it's always some kind of drama. Keeps me well entertained. Never really met Sands, but head East, I'll fly with you any day. Ihaven't really met anyone from the Cali/AZ "crew" but I have been to a couple of meets out there and wow.... Ihaven't seen anything unsafe go on but just the atmosphere, it's different, nothing like the big happy family im used to on the east coast, but hey... You probably say the same about us, so we are even.... Ihave said too much Iguess, just had to rant for a second over what I have observed over the years.
He said he was sorry, if his way doesn't cut it for you then simply ball it up and throw it in the can, don't come on here and make yourself (Cali Crew and groupies) look even worse. Grow up and be adults. And on a lighter note, even though im a Braves fan... GOYANKS! |
RE: My Apologies
Now I can understand why pilots overshoot their airports by 150 miles, they are busy watching B-2 videos and ruining other peoples threads. Save it for your thread Bryce, thanks![:o]

I think if you were at the rally and saw Justin comments on a rally he did not attend you might be upset .You can check by reading the previous inputs which he was quoted . On his apology, he points out that safety was his concern ,well as the safety officer at SVF,and having the BEST Flying field in the southwest (IMO) & not wanting to lose it due to someones irresponsible actions . Safety was our most utmost concern , as it was SVF first jet rally and we tried to cover all bases so to have someone comment on it ; I go pissed . RE: My Apologies
It appears to me that his sponsors took him behind the woodshed, pulled down his pants, and gave him a wippin' that a little boy deserves when he acts up and gets out of line...
No one can accept an apolgy from someone that states he is apologetic in one sentence and then spins the apology in another...Especially when Justin didn't address what was originally the offending offense.... What really kills me about this guy is that he has made statements about the mentally handicapped when he himself is handicapped and confined to a wheelchair... 'Bout time someone spanked this kid and put him in his place... Kevin |

One look at me and you will know I am not exactly the posterchild for safety. Accidents happen, I have to live with mine every day of my life. Are you willing to do the same? Again, my apologizes to everyone. Justin Sands BVM rep Team JR/Horizon October 2009 A potentially dangerous affliction. Definition: You feel that you must beat down the other pilots and planes that proceeded you so that you receive more applause and adulation from the other cronies within the company. Therefore you make comments like "Bla bla bla quack quack quack" Discussion: Some company reps are often as guilty as those who want to become reps. The other modelers that you are trying to impress have no idea that they are being exposed to a possible disaster. They are ignorant of the absolute arrogance of the individual and what could happen if a mental or ego failure occurs. They brought their kids to be entertained, not unknowingly threatened. Disaster happens occasionally in smaller Chinese companies even though airframe proficiency and company integrity are not closely regulated. As such, eventually these smaller companies are partnered up with the bigger ones because those bigger companies realize they do not hold the market share anymore and just bad mouthing is not working as well anymore. During the past several years, there have been multiple confrontations involving reps and companies that suffered at the hands of people afflicted with "Jackassitis". So far, we have been fortunate. Common sense and responsibility should dictate that a rep practice his speech in the absence of spectators. Equipping the rep with reduced cost models will give the pilot further reason to bad mouth competition and insult those who don't want to fly the overpriced models. Unfortunately, those suffering from "Jackassitis" feel they have no limits and pose a risk to the hobby and innocent modelers enjoying it. You will find name calling, insults, and racial slurs common practice for those suffering from this condition. What they forget is that even spectators will recognize "Jackassitis" and those that were considering purchasing from this rep's company will be turned away. We have been lucky so far, but it would be folly to keep depending on just luck. If professionalism were to only be practiced, it would be recognized and appreciated. Unfortunately, "Jackassitis" can be acquired by anyone with an ego, but is particularly dangerous to those who drink to much of a specific color cool aid. |

I wouldn't say he drinks the color too much... It wasn't too long ago I saw him making a post on how ****ty the Skymaster F-16 servo install was on the wings....
