Okay...

We've got guitar players in Pennsylvania and Alaska,
a bass player in Puerto Rico,
and drummers in San Diego and Australia.

I've set up band practice at my place on Thursday nights.

See y'all there!
I'm a guitar player too Bob!!!

Here's a song I wrote years and years ago, sorry, I'm a guitar player, not a singer ;) http://www.pics.lgmguitars.com/pics/Dont_let_go.mp3

That sounded great, Jeremy! I could hear potential harmonies in there. You might consider presenting that track to Harley...would be perfect in a Motorcycle commercial (I'm not joking).

Anyway...see ya Thursday night for practice.

It sounds like you are of the crowd that thinks Jet pilots are all Doctors, Lawyers and Indian Chiefs just because our toys cost more than yours. We're not! Many of my jet friends are working stiffs like I was. We just budget our money, plan and buy what we enjoy. You can do the same.

I didn't realize Indian Chiefs made such good money. How do you get into that field?

I run a small family business where we produce motorcycle and agricultural tires, besides some semi products for the tire industry.I have been doing this hobby for 18 years now.
How I got into jets is actually when someone abroad asked me to produce model jet tires to fit Robart rims 8 years ago.I produced the tires ,sent them and got a jet in return.
A Super Reaper and a Behotec 130.Sent more tires and got a Skymaster F-18.After 2 years got married, got kids and had to simply forget flying till a few months ago.
I just love the hobby..

I've always been kind of curious.

Outside Sales & Sales Management.
I started flying sailplanes when I was 12 and flew thermal duration until I was in college with my own job. (my dad didn't approve of powered RC flight) :)

I make OK money but I have a wife, two kids, cars, real estate etc.
I have two turbines and three airframes. I'm able to do jets because I built a Falcon 120 conversion as my first jet and bought both turbines and the other two airframes second hand.
You have to be patient and wait for the good deals.

I'm probably better qualified to be a trust-fund baby . . . . . there's just one thing missing. :)

Interesting Comments
I have flown R/C since 1952. Started with a Babcock single channel and escapemnets. I built just about every do-it-yourself project ever published from 1952 to 1968, then went into building R/C radios for a living.

1955- 3 1/2 years Airforce Pilot. last 2 1/2 years Air Defense flying F-94C
1959 - Built homes in central Kansas for two years.
1960 - Worked for Honeywell in Denver as Electronics Purchasing agent
1968 - Opened my own company building Royal Electroncis R/C radios.
1984 - Closed the radio company and opened computer consulting buisness.
2007 - Fully retired and building models I always wanted to build.

Saw my first model turbine on a test stand approx. 10 years ago. After hearing and smelling it I knew I had to have at least one of those in my lifetime. I have been flying my Boomerang Intro for 3 years and hope to test fly my scratch built F-94C soon. I now have 2 turbine engines.

I keep so busy building and flying, I don't know now how I ever had time to work.

Avionics engineer in the Royal Navy . . . nav aids, Radar, counter measures, comms, weapon systems, power supplies, instruments etc, pays for my toys but on the downside it does interfere with me flying them . . . alot! Have become pretty obsessed with this jet business which has dropped me in it with 'her indoors' a few times, have managed to get away with it . . . so far!

Huh??

I didn't know you played drums, Jerry!
Been quite a while since you've been out to the house Shawn. Got a set of Yamaha DTXpress drums on the other side of the living room from the Yamaha GC1 baby grand that Timothy and the girls play. Gives me something to beat on when a shipping company loses my missiles or some D@&* Quartermaster wraps a rope around one of my radar antennas, the dog's been much happier since I got the drums.
