also guys, how does this compare to the flash? I know they are really different airplanes, but wondering if landing speeds and top speeds would be similar. How does it compare in flight to a flash?

Had a chance to look at the Viper a bit more.
I ordered the Kevlar tanks option and it came with two the second one looks to be about 50oz. It semi circular so I will I make a mount and put the curve down so I can use all of the fuel.
I also ordered the pilots to fit in the scale cockpit and the pilot option has been deleted so I will need to find hot looking babe to fly my Viper!
The cockpits are nicely done detail wise the tub are vacuum formed out of a thin plastic and then reinforced with glass cloth on the bottom side.
There was a very slight crack on the forward edge of one of the tubs from shipping that can be fixed with a piece of poly ply. In fact i'm going to cut a horse shoe shaped piece to mount on the front bottom edge of both tubs as I think this would make them hold up better from being removed and re-installed at during re-fueling.

Scott, I did not know there was a bypass available but I saw it on the options check list. I do like a bypass setup so most likely I will.

Ali, are you running a bypass in yours? Does the interior of you model have the heat resistant paint applied in the turbine area above the motor?

Hi Bob,
No bypass in mine and no hear resistant paint. A friend of mine you also has a 2M reported that his fuselage was getting very hot after turbine shut down. He added heat shield paint and that helped a little but he was still worried, so he added the bottom only part of the bypass ( To direct the warm air away from the fuselage more than anything) and that worked a treat.
What surprises me is that he is running exactly the same turbine set up as me, and I dont seem to have any issue with my model. I guess it might be to do with turbine positioning in relation to the tail pipe. I recently had an issue we re-circulation on my ME262 heating the fuselage up and actually causing it to implode as my turbine was too far forward.

Not sure to be honest Bob. I would guess one of the stock bypass's would fit, just not sure about the intake ( If its set up to slot into a bypass)

Is it possible that someone measure the size of the cockpit tube Viper 2m? (lenght, wide, dept from the edge of the canopy)

Here is a 2M Viper that I am building for Jet Central. It has the New Jet Central Cheetah turbine.
I found that the tail cone set the pipe close the the bottom and some air gap at the top. I cut some cooling holes in the bottom of the fuse between the ventral fins.
I had a top half of a by-pass laying around so I fitted it.
