Default Tmaxx Diff Lube Substitute

Is there another grease I could use in my Tmaxx diffs? Would using wheel bearing grease or u-joint grease work?

I use lithium grease in the front diff on my Savage & I haven't had any problems with it. My friend used the same grease in his Rush & we're thinking that might be why he stripped his diff. Use your own judgement.

Thanks for replys. The reason I was wondering is because local hobby shop is 35 miles and Tower Hobbies is currently out of the Traxxas grease. The rear pinion gear has 3 teeth ground down pretty bad. Would it be a good idea to upgrade to the Robinson diff gears? Anyone have them in their Maxx? I don't plan on doing any motor upgrades.

I have the RRP diff gears in my Maxx with a Sirio and still no problems after arount 2 gals. The stocker did'nt last 2 tanks after breaking in the Sirio.
