Default Traxxas X-Maxx!

This looks very cool my friends. I love how on the website next to "Scale" is just says Maxx.

LOL
tha's funny cuz the scale of this thing is maybe 7th
they are already leading fanboys to believe this truck is bigger than it really is by using doctored pictures on the web to make it look bigger than it actually is

kinda lame

I do like the truck though

It's 29.84" long, 22.26" wide, 13.79" high, has an 18.92" wheelbase and 4" of ground clearance. For comparison the Redcat Rampage MT 1/5th monster truck is 29.13" long, 23.62" wide, 13.78" high, has a 20.31" wheelbase and 2.83" of ground clearance.

I'm definitely not a traxxas fanboy but I would say it's a 1/5th.

Can't wait for user reviews to show up. That X-Maxx is just plain awesome! And the fact that you can just hit a button and make it up-right itself...bonus! The only thing I don't like is the price. I'm sure there will only be a select crowed ordering one of these. I'll just have to wait for further input/reviews to justify me owning another Traxxas RC, and having a "car payment" to go with it .

LOL I thought the shocks were massive too. I like much about it but dislike the body. Do not like how the body attaches, means use of aftermarket bodies is out. And if that latch breaks, its out too. Rocking the car to flip it over is nothing new, but doing it with the holding of one button is new.

It's a nice truck, but I think Traxxas should come out with a gasoline version of this beast.

It definitely does look cool, and from the videos I've seen it has a lot of power and is a good basher. It's still designed like a super simple electric truck though. It's nothing special and it's way overpriced. If you ask me, Traxxas should make a 1/5 scale Revo or Slayer, gas powered with inboard suspension on either the Revo or Slayer style, now THAT would be awesome. I love 1/5 scale gas trucks, and am currently in love with the Losi 5ive-T. Now if there were a 1/5 gas Slayer, that would be awesome. Still, the X-Maxx does seem like a lot of fun, but it is rather expensive for what it is.

The truck has issues and obviously being its a rtr deal..

It should have been a kit truck cause things are being missed and over looked in the qc area..

Gas powered? I would be interested but for a few $100 more I can get a losi 5t maybe less

I went to the local hobby shop and ask how much they could get it for. After a few minutes they could not find it and ask what scale it is.... I said well...Maxx. Had to explain that what the manufacturer scales it at and find it on my phone. After a few more minutes it was $800 bucks. I never thought the Maxx scale would get me like it did.

Thumbs up

I just got my X-Maxx. After hours of searching online. I finally found a good, reliable, and affordable place to purchase it. The company surprisingly had a few in stock, and had great customer support. Click here for a link for the X-Maxx.

Ask for Marc.

It's a big truck its a 1/5 scale
Little bigger then the FG MONSTER TRUCK.
they run great I have 2 of them.
One I ran in snow, water Mudd then washed it off with water the clean off the Mudd then took my time cleaning it up soap and water with a toothbrush and a rag.
U can't tell it had the poop ran out of it.
With 6 cell plenty of power wheeles you don't need no more power unless you want to kill it.
It performs awesome off road up and down the street it's different I picked up two of them because if a thing broke I had a parts truck and nothing broke and I ran it the way the truck should be ran they didn't jump house it's an awesome truck

I just got the Xmaxx a few days ago,it's a nice machine.
The only complaint so far is that after a few minutes in the sand it overheated and the throttle was limited.
The ESC will flash a red light on and off,i guess it has some kind of heat protection which is good.
It's too bad that this should happen on a new monster truck.
I've seen some videos about installing dual cooling fans 2028 from castle creations.
I've installed some led lights which makes it real cool at night
