i base my opinion on a strong lack of $$$$ s0o when i get a truck i want the strongest truck as it comes out of the box in the category i choose i dont have the funds for hopups if i could afford it i could get aluminum a arms and whatnot for my MT2 right now but funds and personal preferance dont allow it

Why only buy one of the trucks when you can own them both for twice the price??

Several of us are moving away from the mt's toward the hybrids or buggies converted to unlimited mt's. Do not get me wrong the MTs are a real blast and I still have one Maxx 21 conversion but the Maxxes and the Savages will not keep up with the 'unlimited class mt's'.

iv had a maxx 4 2 years only thing i did 2 it that really helped durability was switch 2 aluminum bulks, the 2.5 motor started to overheat after a year so i got a bigger head, now it runs great, i love my maxx but the long shocks n .25 motor make for a nice basher. After market support goes to the maxx but not by alot, and i heard that a maxx is a little better because of its lower ride height (thats just something i heard), in reality which ever truck you think looks best and has the most parts supplied at your LHS is probably the one for you to buy.

what exactly is a hybrid MT? and if you are not racing or if you have friends that have them who cares what other peopel are moving to?

I agree with the other posts its what you want to do with the truck

A. you want to keep it stock. Then buy the Cen the replacement parts are cheap enough to keep some in stock

B. you want to spend a sh@t load of cash right off the bat. Then buy a T-Maxx

C. you want to buy a good truck that is good stock but has support to upgrade when you have the money or just want to make it flashy. Then buy a Savage

I ordered the Savage SS today it has a few more hop ups that i liked over the RTR

guys, im friends with foxkid04 and we don't have a lbs that carries cen parts. besides how can say the cen is better than the t-maxx, when it runs away?? and he didnt ask about the cen in the first place. the t-maxx and savage are the only good trucks that are in our price range.

once agian i would like to tahnk all of you very much for replieing to the topic of my request. For thoes of you that are still talking aobut the CEN MT2...SHUT UP and get outta my post, i olny care about two moster trucks and thoes are the best on the mark the HPI SAVAGE and the TRAXXAS T-MAXX incase you guys are blind. I am not trying to bash the CEN MT2 i jsut did not ask about it and am getting tired of it wasting room on my post. I have one question about the savage(see that the SAVAGE...NOT the CEN MT2), what engine would you sugest i get so i can mud bog and rock climb, but still have good excell. and top end?? Thank you.

keep the stock engine till u wear it out the nitro start S 25 is a good engine taht will serve u well

foxkid04 is right you guys have talked about the MT2 so much I've lost interest in it.

the xtm 247 is a good motor
but id keep the stock motor for a while before changing

Sure. Your spell checker spells 'you' as 'u' and 'serious' as 'seriuos'. I have that problem with mine all the time.

On a more serious note, it significantly detracts from your credibility when you write like that. People will take your opinions much more seriously if you present them in a more intelligible manner.
