GS SUT 25 or T MAX 25 or Savage 25 ?
Hi Guys
Want to get me a Nitro truck and can't decide what to get and would like you guys to sway me in a direction . Overall I'm looking for something with good speed a decent amount of Hop-ups and a truck that can take a beating. I'm sure they all can but I just can't decide, look I'm not looking at racing the thing although that would be a plus so I'm not really worried about that. I think it comes down to more bang for your buck at the end of the day. Also I'm looking at a RTR package.
Thanks in adavance.....

I was at the "Battle At The Beach" this weekend in Ft. Walton Beach, FL and an S.U.T schooled all the other trucks in the A main. It had truggies, savages, t-max's, and supermax's down by a lap or two. It out cornered and out ran all the trucks.

I have owned a Savage SS and have built a hybrid maxx. I would say the GS SUT. Even if your not going to race it will still do pretty much anything the other trucks will do but it will be more fun to drive as it won't be flipping over during high speed turns. As far as hop ups. GS has a ton of parts to personalize it. I warn against falling into the buying a rtr and then spending a fortune to make it perform more like a buggy. I know, I did it and feel like an idiot when I could have waited a couple of months and bought the sut or the storm conversion. I say, bang for your buck is get a storm buggy and get the SUT pro conversion for 169.00 you can get the rtr buggy w/ JR XR3i another good point(good radio) for like 379.00 NIB if you know where to look. This way you have a good buggy and a good MT/Truggy whatever you want to call it and can switch back and forth in an hour. Those other trucks are just asking for it, aluminum bling bling, that at the end of the day end up costing way more than it's worth. Not trying to start a ridiculous this is better than that or anything, just me own opinion, everyone else has one and I don't know what I'm talking about anyway

If you are going with a SUT I have to agree with the Pro buggy/SUT conversion route. I've done 2 of them and they are worlds ahead of the RTR all the way around. Being a truggy it won't go as many places as the Maxx or Savage if you are only bashing, but if you are going racing it would be the hands down first pick.

i took out my savage 25 out for it's fisrt real run yesterday and let my tell you something, seeing that truck shift into second gear going up a 60 degree slop is a sight to see. plus i flipped it soooooooo many times and hopping curs is no good for most trucks. but not the savage. it a licking and kept on ticking. go with the savage
