Sorry, Holiday weekend

The slipper is just that, it works very muck like a slipper on a Stadium truck,
The idea is, when you really get on the gas it will slip before it tears up the diffs or out drives
Diff gears die first on Doms.
In application, the looser you run the slipper the longer the diffs will last. The 2 speed you have has no slip, it’s a solid shaft and as you may already now it makes the truck handle terrible in the air and off jumps. The best upgrade if you want to dump the 2 speed is the center diff, the truck will handle much better.

Good luck

thanks for the info i will give it some thought.
so you recommend the single slipper centre diff as it will make the car handle better off jumps and also make the front and rear diffs last longer. i have a dom extreme version with all the alloy bits and pieces.so it should last a little longer than most standard doms or pirate mt's.

anywayz thanks for the info [sm=biggrin.gif]
