Default Losi LST Starter- Please Help

I will be getting an LST as soon as Dr. Budget gives me the OK. Until then, I need to replace the pull start on my XTM X-Terminator. I can't find any specs, details, or even a picture of the LST starting system. The team Losi website search function is not working, and their LST page is ultra-lame. Horizon seems to have parts for it, but there are no pictures or details:

SPIN-START BACKPLATE,.21-.26:LST [LOSB5111]
NYASPIN-START HAND HELD STARTER:LST [LOSB5100]

Do any of you lucky LST owners have any info for me. I am looking at the LST starter because it appears to operate from a right angle to the drive shaft (saw it in a video). Also- is it a good system? What kind of batteries does it require? etc?
L8tes,

It seems to work great. It uses a regular 7.2 volt electric car battery pack.
Go to the Losi web site and DL the PDF file of the LST manual. There are some exploded part views and PN's. It look like there is more then jsut the back plate to the whole thing. It looks like their is a collet, spring ect.
Good luck,
J~

I will definitely buy it off you if I can confirm that I can use it on my XTM 247. If you can confirm it first, then that will do fine.
Schweet!

Does the shaft start approach the engine at 90 degrees to the drive shaft?
