RE: *PICS*The REVO is mine!*PICS*
it just run 2 tanks through my baby , my dad got another servo for me the other day after work so i installed it and ran it. I also lowered the ride height the other night, and I think its about ready to go to the track and race Handling is awsome, it does push a little on the throttle(most racing fans know what I'm talking about#8 baby) but the sidewall flex seems to help it out some, and it can cut very short off the throttle. It did stall once or twice. Today was forecasted to have a heat index of 100 [sm=sunsmiley.gif], could that be the reason? If not could someone help me with needle settings?
Overall, I fell back in love with her.

not once did i hear u say what the temp of the motor was running so i guess we can assume that u dont have a temp gun??????? i know some ppl that say "the temp guns are junk and they would never use them" but it allways seems that those ppl are the ones that die 3 laps into the main...... experience will get u close but still it is nice to know exactly how hard u are pushing it ... my 2 cents.

Nah you could get one of those things called a "job" and start saving yourself. It is summer, so it's easier to get a job since you likely do not have school.

thats alot, you could go buy a REVO! or wait a month and buy a LST or REVO and make it a race dominator
I mow my grandmothers yard once a week for 10 dollars, thats the only persons yard I mow. If your too lazy to mow yards, your too lazy to lay on the couch.

Just finished putting a quart through it, stalling minimizes every time i run it. I guess its the enigine opening up. It was still no the hot side today.
Now that I've had time to run it a good bit, its about time to post up my review[sm=thumbup.gif]
I'm gonna try and take her to the races next saturday if any lhs has some. I'll tell ya'll how it goes.

RE: *PICS*The REVO is mine!*PICS*
Good luck with your Revo. I am hoping to recieve mine by next friday
Thanks for the heads up on the servos and the screws guys.
I will do a review on mine after i put my time in. I previously owned:
Storm buggy, Mamoth, EK 4 (a riot), Twin Titan (eats drive trains) and for a brief time a T Max.
I am a little leary on the Traxxas 2.5 engine and was thinking about replacing it.
Any one with exsperiance with the 2.5[8D]

the engine is a screamer but im still not much of a fan of it, i am one of those victims that had premature engine wear, but just today i got a wasp .18 and im installing into my nitro rustler, 9 months after the trx2.5 craped out. i will send it in for a new one eventually, but i decided to have some with it before it did that, go to rcpics.net and do a search for trx2.5 and you will see.

lol ya, it was kinda scary because that thing was really winding out the revs, i was trying to get the conrod to snap and shoot through the crankcase, but instead i melted a hole in the bottom of the crankcase.[sm=stupid.gif]

does it hold a tune well, and what temps does it run. They were the main problems w/ the 2.5

how am i supposed to know, im a r/c noob. According to the spit test it would take 2 or 3 seconds of the spit to fizzle away, but yesterday and today, it seemed a little hotter.
