If you dont run out of radio range or space, RCCA claims 52 mph. Pretty slouchy on the bottom end though[:'(]

bottom end doesnt seem that slouchy to me. And if you want to accerlerate faster, you can always get the 12/17 replacement clutchbell

I agree with ScMc. My friends mammoth was slouchy on the bottom end. Thats why they will go so fast. His isn't slouchy by no means anymore, as it now houses 2 xtm 24.7 engines, one being a pro and the stocker soon to be upgraded. It is insane fast now.

2nd one down right hand side part # 10248 i imagine the mod would be the same tho it would just be a matter of marking the spot on the lid

also i converted mine to run 110 from the house outlet so i hope that doesnt get in the way

few things to make it bullet proof. You can look at racer9 sites for the diff solution. I have a custom cage made by one of the guys on the XTM forum. Also have ALum arms. It is easy to make this thing nearly impossible to break. My chassis has no chance in hell of bending if it does then it got run over by a train. Alum arms cost me 99$ (full set of upper and lower, front and back) cage cost me 160$ made from 5/16" ALUM, bolted to the shock towers and to the chassis.

It will take ur abuse. The main thing You have to worry about it stock shock towers if you dont have a brace or roll cage

you know no truck is bullet proof. weaknesses on the mammoth
Diff clicking, fixed by 3$ in shimming the diff
weak shock towers, u flip it over and it will bend

oh ya i hit a tele pole at 30mph and cost me 5$ to fix

my truggys pretty bullet proof other than the rear shock mount and the drive axles which i bend ALOT i never have a problem with it i drive it bodiless off the roof of my house upside down highspeed landings its virtually indestructable

im hoping with a few mods the mammoth will be as tough looks like a good truck to me and a buddy of mine has the smaller xtm and says its tough as nails so
