well its in there to keep the dogbones properly spaced so that they dont bind or fall out while the suspension does its thing. good news is this part can be easily replaced with a similarly sized piece of fuel tubing.[8D]

anything 'rubbery' about the same size will work as a band-aid, fuel tubing would be my first instinct. if you have something better,great. as long as it helps keep the spacing correct, you'll be fine.
