RE: savage tires
Those tire are good for bashing and will last quite awhile running on pavement but if you want great dirt race tires i'd look at 40 series bow ties by proline http://www.pro-lineracing.com/proline.html

RE: savage tires
Those are almost identical to the stockers that come on the Traxxas E&T-maxx. Assuming they will handle the same, they are a good all-round tire. However, they can be a bit "tipsy" when cornering at high speeds on any surfaces due to the chevron edges being so aggressive. After having them for a few months (depending on how much you drive it), you will notice that they will slowly handle better and better because the edges will become more and more worn from high speed turns. Obviously they are not good dirt-track tires, for that I would go with the Pro-Line Bowties (or something similar). If the V-pattern is turned backwards, you can do some serious off-roading since the tread's will be grabbing much better. really depends on the kind of driving you are planning on doing. {Hard-pack dirt - Bowties} {Street - Road Rage} and for "all-round driving on multiple surfaces" the chevron style will suit you fine.
