a mate has a .40 aeroplane engine that i can have in return for a few beers or whatever, i was wondering if there is any way to put something like that into a mt??
it would kick ass power wise wouldnt it? what would be involved? thanx

i wouldnt waste any time with that, the port timing, size, shape, duration, are all completely different. plus, it would overheat faster then you could imagine.

20 years ago a friend did that, but at that time you could get a new head for the needed cooling, but you would not get anywhere near the power you have in the car specifik engins of the same size.
I guess that the rebuild will be more expensive than a new car engine, unless you have access to a full machine shop, and plenty of time...
