Guys, just a little piece of advice on removing anodizing from aluminum parts. Don't use sandpaper, just spray on a little oven cleaner wipe it off and clean it up with some metal polish. Works great and works quickly.

When i emailed them i complained about the wrong part number printed in the catalog an algo asked for the part numbers... they didnt give me the part numbers. As i said before... i even received them in a ziplock bag, not even packed for sale.

BTW... messn knows someone who sells them in ebay, the store is called groovie stuff...

here are the item numbers for the axles and the hexes:

Item number: 390016072730 - Axles
Item number: 390016072620 - Hexes

I know it was supposed to be free items (just the way i got them) but if you bid on those maybe you get a good deal.
Yes I did the same but they don't have anymore.
I have bought tons of stuff from Groovie he is a nice person to deal with. But if people are going to buy the axles we should let each other know so we don't try to out bid each other.

hahahah... thats true, besides groovie stuff has a lot of parts in stock. I asked him once and he placed new items for sale every tuesday... so if you dont win a bid you can bid next week.

LOL, good to see you back again.

Do you have any other RC trucks? You could have snuck those out and run those while our warheads were down.

Mess, thanks again for your kind offer. I got all the parts I needed from Ebay for my $65 Warhead. As I said before it didn't have a body so I painted one up for it. here's a few pics. Still need to tear it down and install parts but it has promise.

Very nice body looks good. Well my time off from work was short lived so in January I go back. So I have been trying to get my builds in order. I just started working on my Lrp .28 for my Savhead. I will take pics I know there are a few guys looking to see how I did the conversion. Then I will upgrade the Warhead with the OS .30. Anybody know a good pipe to use on that engine? And the real kicker is I am shrinking my garage space to install a lundry room so there would be more room in the house. The things I do for my wife. But as you ALL KNOW if she is happy then we are happy. Have a good X-MASS everybody.

OK, took one pic of the top of my Savhead and of the LRP fresh out of the box. Don't know about you guys but there is nothing like taking an engine out of the box for it's first time.

I have tons of pipes I guess I need to try them and see what works.

I went to the hobby shop in town and pick up a new monster truck. I wanted to wait till after the holiday but he took of $70.00 so I did it. It's not a Warhead but I wanted something different and I don't have anythting from XTM. Now don't put my new truck down cause it's not a Warhead... Besides the Warhead will always have the upper shelf.

rcbeep.. you will love the LRP, here are some coments from what i experienced:

It comes too rich from factory (LSN and HSN), use at least 25% Nitro as with the 20% it will work really hard to reach the temps the manual says. I can hardly reach the 200F and below 200F the engine runs almost worst than the super pooper. This baby was concibed for higher nitrage and abuse, trust me!!!! After passing the 200F this thing really screams, i even left some K y o s h o M P 9 b u g g i e s behind, even fully loaded with alu ... almost 18 pounds of weight..... what reminds me of something: DONT EVER load your trucks with that much alu like i did... extremely heavy, already killed 2 High Torque digital servos ($200 [:@]).

Getting back to the engine... if this power house moves my "bulldozer" like a rocket and made it pull up the front wheels with a 15T clutch bell... imagine what it can do with a stock warhead. So.... i am starting this week the rebuilding of the stock warhead, i think i almost have everything i need.

BTW... the tranny and diffs from the warhead can handle all the power from the LRP, i think everything is just a matter of tunning (sleeper clutch, gear mesh, lubrication, etc etc)

Just for the record: 16T clutch bell + LRP.... too much low end and now speed / 18T clutch bell + LRP... the perfect combination.

Consider these factors:
- Almost 18 pounds (with full alu)
- An extremely heavy 5,000mAh Nimh battery pack (used for the Hpi Baja)
- Stock pipe and header... (the buku pipe hasnt even been tested)
- 20% Nitro (left overs)

I have the LRP in my Savage and it's a rocket. So I know it will be good in my Savhead. My stock Warhead I will be putting in the .30 OS. I am not worried about my trans I will take it easy on it. The one I beat will be the Savhead cause it has the Savage trans and that is a tank.
