So now it's a beauty contest. That's retarded. So what if the stock shell looks bad? It's made for usefulness, not looks. Don't like the look, buy another shell for it. That's all there is to it

How a truck looks in it's stock form is a big deal for most people... Not everyone wants to rush out and buy a new body for their brand new truck because the stock one sucks. Shouldn't even really be classed a truck in it's stock form, it's too truggy looking.

ok so i read a question "what would win a revo with a 21 or a savage with a 32" well thats a strange question. i guess it would be close, who knows.... but the real question is, why wouldnt you just put the 32 in the revo and be gone!! no sense sayin a revo with a small big block, it can hold ant motor those other trucks can with a qoncepts big block kit. so if the savage weighs what 12 pounds, and the lst 14, the revo weighs 9 stock! there are 7 pound revo out there!!!
mine with the os 30 weighs 9.2 pounds.. its quick, and its geared to top out at around 54mph.
heres a short vid, we were doing a little online drag racing, so its got a wheelie bar on it.

Also the 2.5r has a rated rpm of 42,000 and if i was to put the surefire .32 in it, i would lose 3,000 rpm, so don't you think i would lose some top speed.

i used a speed calculator, based on tire diameter, gear ratios, final drive ratios, and rpm. its geared for the lower rpm motor.
54 mph is too fast to turn, but that really doesnt matter. when i go from one side of the field to the other im not turning back and forth. its not like i need that much speed, but if i gear it any lower the wheelies become unmanagable. i dont race, only bash. the revo is a very good handling truck that can be excessively fast!
heres a bashing vid, im running an xciter lid.

BTW, a truggy is actually a truck. That's why it has a turck-like, or truck body on it. The Revo is also like a Truggy. It just has a truck body on it. That's why it's a great racer, and owns in the small block, along with the TNX pro.

If you look on this forum, people that buy the LST 2 usually take the LST body, and put it on the LST 2. Then it looks like a MT again.

actually the revo is not a truggy, usually a truggy has a center diff. also theres something about the output of the transmission is lower than the clutch bell, that classifies it as a monster truck.
it just handles so good for a monster truck it appears to be a truggy!

oops, forgot to put "like". It's supposed to say, "like a truggy", not "a truggy"

And a LST stock(not LST 2) beat a hopped up Revo in acceleration. Does that tell you something? The LST was eventually chased down, but it stayed on the Revo's heels. Imagine the LST with some hopups.
Wait... did the LST beat the Revo or was it chased down and passed? I'd like to see some proof of that, because my .23 powered Revo beat 2DMaxLST's LST in a straight-up drag.

How about the Mayhem ST, if it was to be geared down to do about 40-45, do you then think that it could beat all the other trucks, that was talked about in this forum

Is it really fair though to compare a 1/10th scale truck vs a 1/8th scale? What if the savage was 1/10th scale then, would it tear it up or what? I'm just curious to know why people compare different scale trucks when there's obviously going to be a big difference in performance.

The LST was winning, but it messed up, and the Revo passed it

Scale is whatever the company wants to say it is. The Revo is CONSIDERED 1/10 scale... however uses the same body as a Savage... and is BARELY smaller in size. I noticed that Losi deemed the LST2 as 1/10 scale... (at least I think it did).. but it's the same size as the LST... which is considered 1/8 scale. The Savage Kawasaki is like 1/5 scale... but it's the same as the regular Savage... it just has a different body.

The Revo uses the same size body as the Savage. SO what? The Savage is larger than the Revo, enough so to be called 1/8 scale. Now a LST is freakin' huge compared to the Revo, and the Savage.

Revofan, I only saw about 30 seconds of that race, but I can say that a stock LST can keep up with a race-tuned Revo easily. You must consider that this LST didn't even have different tires. The Revo had bow-ties, and the LST had it's stocker bashing tires.

Enough said, keep arguing
