glo plug igniter

If it was totally dead, or brand new, dont let it charge for more than around 6 hrs. It might even be fully charged within a few hours, depending on the output rate of the transformer. Do you know what kind of battery (MAH rating) of the battery inside of the ignitor? If so, and you know the output of the charger, you can pretty easily figure out how long to charge it.

it's a 1600mAh battery is what it means, you can use the mA rating on the charger to calculate how many hours it takes to charge...
my glow ignitor said to plug it in for 15 hours when new, and 12 hours after that, and that should be pretty standard, and is close enough... you can't really over charge the batteries using the charger they give you, which is thier point...
